Which training plan is more effective?
Both training plans are very effective; it all just depends on how involved in the training you would like to be. Private training you’re involved in the entire training process and day training we take care of most of the training process for you. Then at pick up we will show you what we have done.

How old does my dog have to be to start training?
We can start in home Private dog training at anytime. If you wanted to do any in facility training with your pup. They must be at least 4 months of age!

What training methods do you use?
We are balanced trainers so we use all four quadrants of Operant Conditioning (positive reinforcement, positive punishment, negative reinforcement, and negative punishment.) and Classical Conditioning (a process that involves creating an association between a naturally existing stimulus and a previously neutral one). We start with the least invasive methods and only go more invasive as needed and with owner approval.

We just finished up the 5 week obedience course for our 4-5 month old golden doodle (teddy bear terrorist), Annie. Makayla and Rob gave us some great foundational obedience training that we can continue to reinforce as she gets bigger. They also helped build my confidence in training her. I was feeling so overwhelmed with this pup and K9 made a big difference. Annie is really a great pup and is doing so well now that we have started her with some basic training. Give them a call and get signed up with them. You won’t regret it.
