Don't just envy those people you see in public with well behaved and well rounded dogs, be one! My Australian Shepherd Willow literally grew up with HumaneK9. The training that took place out in the real world with Marni is immeasurable especially for our work in animal assisted therapy with Magical Canine Connections. Training is a two-way street, your dog trainer is not a miracle worker, although Marni is close! You have to put in the work as well. Not only are you receiving amazing positive training, she also provides guidance and support that will help you along the way in your journey. I wanted to share an experience I had just the other day that prompted me to write this testimonial. I had to bring my dog into the office since she had a vet visit in the evening. I left her a few times throughout the day for meetings and she waiting quietly and calmly in my office. It was a long day with people coming in and out of my office, but she took it all in stride. Next stop was the vet visit before going home. Again, she was calm and relaxed before and during her chiropractic adjustment. This part is all in thanks to the Cooperative Care training. Overall, I am so very grateful that I am able to take my dog into any environment and know she is going to be well behaved, relaxed and happy whether we are on a therapy visit, training class, an all day dog sport trial or just an every day situation. I've done several different training sessions with HumaneK9 for myself and my pups. My sweet girl is now a certified therapy dog and I couldn't be happier with her training. My pup has learned to be really precise in her basic training, do lots of tricks, be an awesome heeler, and is a beautifully trained member of our family. I must say that I have found that a well trained dog is the best pet! HumaneK9 actually taught me how to be the trainer for my dog. I always enjoyed the sessions and really had a lot of fun. I met Marni at a doggy day and I instantly realized that she is an excellent professional. We took out 4 month old puppy to a private session and now we are part of her group training. She know exactly what is best for you and your dog and as long as you practice and implement what she recommends you will notice how your relationship with your pet changes. She does everything calmly, with an explanation as to why and knows how to keep you happy and calm as well as it can be frustrating and hard not knowing what to do at first. Absolutely recommend her!
