Adam is fantastic. My dog Olive — a smart, sweet, and stubborn German Shepherd/Husky mix — did a month-long board and train with him, and the experience was absolutely worth it. She was already fairly well-behaved at home, but I wanted to feel more confident handling her, refine her leash skills, improve her off-leash behavior and recall, and help her generally be calmer. After her time with Adam, she came home with a stronger foundation, a calmer, more responsive mindset, and me feeling equipped with the tools to continue her training. From the start, it was clear that Adam genuinely understands and cares about dogs. That made it so much easier to trust him — especially since I was moving from Northern to Southern California during the process and needed someone flexible and communicative. He worked with my hectic schedule, made adjustments when needed, and kept me informed. The follow-up sessions have been valuable. Olive and I both feel more confident, our bond is stronger, and I now have the knowledge and support to continue building on what she learned. Adam has always been great about providing suggestions and answering questions when new situations come up, which makes maintaining her progress much easier. Another huge plus is that Adam offers boarding for dogs he’s trained, which gives me peace of mind for future travel. Even though I’m no longer in Northern California, I’d gladly drive Olive back up to stay with Adam during longer trips because I know she’ll be in an environment that reinforces her progress. I was initially nervous about the investment, but the results — and the ongoing support and peace of mind — have made it completely worth it. I’m really grateful for the foundation Adam helped build and excited to keep Olive’s growth going.

We came to Adam with a 6 month old Malinois that we desperately needed to learn how to communicate with. My goal was not to just learn more about how dogs communicate and respond to people, but how I needed to be communicating with my dog. Within just a few weeks we went from a place of desperation with our Mal to an awesome relationship where he knows what we want and we know how to communicate with him. I cannot recommend a better dog "trainer" - except I am pretty sure that the training was really for me! Worth every penny!

Our Bernedoodle puppy, Charlie was a handful. He loves people and attention. He would pull on his leech to greet them, and would be jumping and wiggling with no uncontrol. We had no idea how to train him ourselves but didn't want to send him away for a period of time. We needed to learn along with him and Adam was our solution. My wife and I think that Adam was a dog in another life. The way Charlie paid attention to him right from the start made it easy for Charlie and US to learn. He has a way of conveying what the dog might be thinking (as if he was a child) when reacting to our actions or commands . We and Charlie have learned a lot and will continue work to improve. If more training becomes necessary, Adam is the only call we will make and would highly recommend him to anyone.
