Hope Retrievers

Hope Retrievers trained our English lab from the start! They taught obedience, bird retrieves and have continued to refine his skills. We not only have an awesome dog that will hunt with us for years to come but a family pet and friend that brightens our days. Hope retrievers also board our dogs and I know they are in the best of hands- with a beautiful place to run and play, plus the layer of daily training in the basics. We are happy because our dogs are happy!!! Cant recommend them enough- just don't take our spots pre duck season😉☺️😝

My German Shorthaired Pointer Boondock "Boon" went to advanced obedience training for six weeks this time last year. Boon was trained by Kelli Hope with Hope Retrievers out of Whitewright where he learned the commands sit, here, heel, place and to walk on lead and off. He loves to go on walks with me where he will stay to my left off leash until I give him permission to run and will return to heel when called. Boon gets to visit Kelli for boarding anytime we go out of town. German shorthaired pointers are very high strung, run constantly and have a natural desire to hunt. Boon's eyes are either on the sky or his nose is to the ground. Leave it to me to make my boy a house dog! I cannot recommend Kelli and her training skills enough, she changed our lives! Kelli is the absolute best! My husband and I sent our rescue mix to Kelli June-July (pup was 9mo old) for basic obedience training. We are the typical millennial dog parents and wanted to make sure our girl was well taken care of. Finley came back to us with the same sweet personality but so much more well behaved. We are now able to play off leash fetch with her in our townhome community which is a huge blessing since we don’t have our own backyard and gives more freedom to Finley. It’s truly amazing how good Kelli & the Hope Retrievers team are. We visited very two weeks and Kelli was always unhurried when talking with us and answering ALL of our questions. Could not more highly recommend the obedience program!

Kelli is amazing! I had to go abroad for two months and had my dog in her boarding/training program and she worked wonders! It's like I came home to a whole new dog, not only was he listening to commands better, but he was a lot calmer. Also, her prices were fairly reasonable. Everywhere else I looked was trying to empty my pockets for the two months. She was also very good about sending updates. My dog now adores her. Will definitely be booking her again, we had an amazing experience.
