I cannot say enough good things about Mark. We have a newly adopted dog that didn’t have much training but was a really good dog. I was instantly impressed with his positive reenforcement techniques (and not punishment) our dog Charm was shy at first but took to Mark so well and remembered him and what he was taught the last visits. We did the 4 fast track visits and the price really was the most reasonable and doable from the quotes I had received from others (the others were in the thousands). A bonus was that they were able to schedule us in very quickly. Mark took to the time to talk to us about our home environment and what was most important to us in training. I would definitely use him again and would recommend him in an instant. If your researching, Mark is your guy. I can’t Thank him enough.

I chose to do the fast track option for my 16 month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He is very friendly and would pull, jump and mouth to say hello. In only 4 lessons his behavior has changed so much. He actually sits for strangers to allow them to pet him. Huge improvement! Mark was such a pleasure to work with and really tailored the lessons to him. We went on field trips so that he could experience new places and distractions. I couldn’t be happier with the training we received from Mark. I’m sure we’ll seek out additional training with him in the future, but for now, I’m thrilled!

As a first-time puppy owner with no training experience, I was in dire need of expert guidance. Mark has been incredibly patient and skilled throughout the process. By the time Charlie completed her puppy training at 15 weeks, she had made remarkable progress. Charlie went from struggling with indoor potty training on a fake grass turf to confidently going outside. She also learned to walk on a leash—though she’s still perfecting this skill, she’s made significant improvements. On the very first day of training, I reached out to Mark for advice on crate training, and he provided invaluable tips on choosing high-value treats and handling common issues like chewing and puppy biting and mauling. K9 Dog Training also keeps you informed with helpful email reminders about your sessions. This training isn’t just beneficial for your pets—it’s a great learning experience for you as well. I’m so impressed with the results that I’m planning to enroll my 5-year-old reactive rescue dog with Mark, with the goal of eventually having both dogs play and walk together.
