We’re very sorry to hear you felt uninformed, but we did make multiple attempts to notify all clients well in advance of our closing.<br><br>Specifically, we sent both a text message 21 days before closing announcing that grooming and boarding were closing permanently and the training facility would be closing and relocating to our home. We also sent a reminder text 14 days before the closure and another text a 10 days before with details about where our groomer would be located for anyone wishing to continue with her.<br><br>Unfortunately, you had unsubscribed to SMS messages so you were unable to receive those messages due to you unsubscribing.<br><br>With over 5,000 clients in our system, we did our best to communicate clearly and repeatedly. Unfortunately, we can’t control whether those messages were opened or received.<br><br>We truly appreciate your kind words about our business and are grateful for your past support.

Our team takes great pride in providing professional, compassionate training and open communication with every client.<br>Barney came to us from a hoarding situation, which naturally presents unique emotional and behavioral challenges. According to your evaluation, the specific behaviors you wanted help with were “Anxiety” and “Scared,” occurring “all the time.” You noted he was a rescue dog with these challenges present constantly.<br>During Barney’s evaluation, we discovered he prefers men, had come from a hoarder environment, and lacked any social skills. He displayed intense fear of cars, new things, new people, and new places—often shutting down or attempting to flee out of fear. Your four goals for training were to help him build (1) confidence, (2) social skills, (3) the ability to go more places, and (4) make some friends.<br>Throughout Barney’s program, your husband expressed happiness with his progress and the results he saw. We repeatedly invited you to attend lessons and actively work with Barney and his trainer, but you chose not to join. Participating in those lessons is an essential part of the training process—it helps owners learn how to communicate effectively with their dogs and reinforce what they’ve learned in training.<br>We were able to glean from your phone calls that you were frustrated that Barney was not bonding with you. Bonding takes kindness, understanding, and patience — especially for dogs from difficult backgrounds who need time to build trust and confidence.<br>At no time during the evaluation or lessons was potty training mentioned as a goal. When you contacted our office, both our trainer and receptionist tried to have a calm, constructive conversation to address your concerns, but you began yelling and hung up.
