If you have been doing hydrotherapy with your own dog like at Rocky's retreat is the owner of the dog allowed in the water also here

Currently the owners of all HIP DOG’s canines can sit close to the edge of pool, not in pool, to observe and to encourage their pets to swim and play.

Does this facility offer the underwater treadmill treatment for dogs?

They don't. That would be really neat but they don't. There is a gradual ledge where your dog can walk into the water as well as a ledge about 4ft long on the other side. They would work with your dog in the water letting them kick naturally as well as helping with the occasional massage.

We can’t thank the wonderful people at Hip Dog Canine Hydrotherapy enough! They helped my Belgian Tervuren puppy find her love for swimming! She had a slight negative experience with a pool at around 3 months, and I was sure she’d have an aversion to pools/swimming since. However, another Belgian owner recommended Hip Dog and we thought we’d give them a shot. Upon our first visit, they were very patient and created a very safe and fun experience for my then 5 month old Terv. Ever since then, she’s been a little shark and water fanatic! Kerasi loves every visit and has a blast!

We love Hip Dog! My dog doesn't have hip or health issues, so we book doggy swim lessons for fun. The covered pool area is so nice, and I am so excited to visit the new location when it opens. The staff are so passionate about what they do and clearly love animals so much. We will keep returning to help our pup feel comfortable in the water - and to have some fun!

June Bug had a great swim experience. Everyone was patient with her and June did great. We'll be back for more lessons
