If you have been doing hydrotherapy with your own dog like at Rocky's retreat is the owner of the dog allowed in the water also here
Currently the owners of all HIP DOG’s canines can sit close to the edge of pool, not in pool, to observe and to encourage their pets to swim and play.

Does this facility offer the underwater treadmill treatment for dogs?
They don't. That would be really neat but they don't. There is a gradual ledge where your dog can walk into the water as well as a ledge about 4ft long on the other side. They would work with your dog in the water letting them kick naturally as well as helping with the occasional massage.

I am thrilled that I found this s place ...brought my 12 yo Gizmo for therapy on his back legs, he LOVED It, had never been in the water before! Christina and Tom were so kind so the next visit I brought my 11 yo Chihuahua who is very nervous around strangers but (Freckles) took to it like a fish, Bryce was so sweet and gentle with him...Katie swam with Gizmo, also very knowledgeable in the animal field
Hip Dog has been great for our crazy, not yet very socialized rescue dog who was deathly afraid of getting wet. She is now willingly entering the water for her swim lessons, allowing others to handle her, and is even swimming! Thank you to the people at Hip Dog for your patience and knowledge, and care for our rescue dog.

If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would! Tido had the BEST time at swim class, and I don’t think he’s forgiven me for bringing him home instead of letting him move in. 😂 From the moment we walked in, it was obvious that the owners and staff genuinely care about every dog that comes through their doors. They are incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions, giving me great ideas to add to Tido’s routine to help make the aging process a little easier on his body. My 13-year-old black Lab has severe pain in his back legs and shoulders, and they treated him like family. Not only did he get the exercise he needed in the water, but he also received personal massage breaks and a well-earned treat for being such a good boy. They understood that Tido isn’t just a dog, he’s our four-legged child. That level of compassion and care is something you can’t teach, and it’s what makes this place so special. We’re so excited to make swim class part of Tido’s weekly routine. Thank you for treating him with so much kindness and helping us give him the best quality of life possible. We truly couldn’t ask for better care.
My 11 senior dog loves to swim here! He comes every week and has gotten so used to the schedule that he wakes me up early on his usual swim day. This has done wonders for his degenerative joint disease by giving him a comfortable way to get all of his energy out.
