Where to start!? Highland canine training LLC is a wonderful group! They have forever changed our lives and the live of my son. From the application process, waitlist, delivery we felt supported during this entire process. Even today after delivery I know they are still here for us! We received our autism service dog Gracie a little over a year ago. Gigi delivered Gracie to us and spent several days training us. I was nervous in the beginning but their knowledge, patience set me at ease right away. Gracie has been such a blessing to our family. She has brought independence back to our son. Has given him confidence, relaxes him in public. He had opened up socially when he used to struggle with this. The meltdowns we used to see have lessen and even gone away. This is because of Gracie. She is so well trained and that is because Highland Canine training! When out in public we get so many compliments on how well trained she is.I would highly recommend them! They took the time to tailor the training to our specific needs, explained the reasoning behind each skill, and consistently demonstrated genuine care for both the dogs and their handlers. This program has had a truly life-changing impact on our daily lives, and I am deeply grateful for the support and dedication they provide. We have had an amazing experience working with Highland to get a service dog for our autistic teen. They matched him with a wonderful dog who had quickly become his best friend (and a great addition to our family!). Gigi and Trinity were amazing when they came to train us, and we felt confident when they left.
