Can’t begin to say how much my family and I appreciate the care that Luis and his great crew gave my son’s dog. We brought Gunner to Luis a few years back for board and train and were very impressed with the difference in him. Everyone there was so kind. They all genuinely care for the wellbeing of the animals they take on board. We recently took Gunner to be boarded while we went on vacation. It went so well, Gunner came home very relaxed and happy.

Luis and the team at Harmony Dog Training have been so great to work with! We did several one on one trainings with Luis and and have boarded our dog at their facility. Our experience with both the training and boarding has been fantastic. We have been so happy working with Luis for one on one trainings. Not only is he extremely knowledgable but, truly cares for those he works with. His approach to training and willingness to answer questions created a comfortable environment and helped our dog (and us) thrive in and out of lessons. In addition to trainings, we have also boarded with Harmony Dog Training. Their caring staff and calm and clean environment put us at ease leaving our dog for the weekend. We look forward to doing more with Harmony Dog Training in the future!

Harmony did an AMAZING job with my 13 month European Doberman Chief. We dropped him off for the 3 weeks intensive training program. The focus was on Chief’s ability to control his excitement and stay focused when in public and meeting new people. Prior to his stay at Harmony he would jump up on you and give kisses and not listen to recall. He’s almost to sweet and friendly, we just needed to show him how to control it. When we got him back it was night and day. He listens 100% better. His leash manners and public manners are much better and easier to control. We were giving a training session to make the transfer from Harmony back home. They showed us his commands and how to properly continue training after you leave. Harmony truly cares about their pups and follows up with us all the time to see if he’s still being a good boy.

It was not quite Disneyland under martial law and no one did the blue-rinse shuffle with the beach-boy muscle when the beast both slipped the noose and broke loose at lunch in Wayland Square this weekend. However, our excitable boy wriggling out of his collar and running out into traffic before darting into the courtyard of a nearby apartment building did cause chaos. The daughter of Harmony owner Luis first shined by coming into the courtyard offering to help. I only rejected that kind gesture because her chihuahua would have stirred up our boy. She took the time and trouble to drop off her dog at home and get a slip collar. My guarding the courtyard entrance prevented my seeing the daughter amazingly first get the slip collar on and then doing awesome origami in the form of fashioning our leash into a makeshift harness. She returned during our lunch and politely told us that her father owned a dog-training business. I called Luis today primarily to ask him to thank his daughter for her help and to ask about training. He was very friendly and took the time to hear me out and to discuss our training options. I learned that Luis has roughly 30 years of professional experience working with dogs. I look forward to putting Hairy Houndini in the very capable hands of Luis and his team.
