Jesus is an amazing dog trainer! My dog Louie had issues pulling on his leash and barging out the door when taken for a walk. Jesus directed me to have the dog sit first and then stay (prompted by verbal commands) while holding the leash firmly so the dog would not bolt out the door. Jesus watched me do this several times and had me repeat this action me until Louie successfully waited. Mind you, this process only took several minutes. Another “trick” Jesus showed me to make Louie sit was to use two fingers and gently press down near Louie’s lower back which worked almost immediately. He also took the time to go outside with my dog and demonstrate how to properly leash walk so Louie doesn’t zig zag and cut in front of me. Jesus has helped my dog Louie so much! He is personable, patient and willing to answer any question I may have. I recommend him highly.

I contacted Happy Tails in need of help with our American Staffordshire Bull Terrier that was rescued from PB County Animal Control. Wally would be dog reactive and "was" a leash puller. Jesus (the owner) came out to my son's home for an introduction to Wally. I was pleased with his background and experience and hired him for 6 sessions. The results were fantastic. Wally learned to walk beside me instead of in front of me pulling. Wally no longer goes after ducks or lunges towards any dogs when he sees one. Wally knows how to sit at the door when I open it and will only come outside when his name is called. The training provided by Jesus was a game changer.
