FirstBarkJesus was great with my very stubborn dog. He even worked with him longer than scheduled to really hone in on his issues. He also was also great at working out any ongoing issues via text/phone after I got my dog back. Highly recommend!

So happy to have found Happy Tails for in-home dog training services. From the initial free consult through the 6 week training program, Jesus was very informative and a pleasure to work with. We saw the progression each week and would highly recommend Happy Tails for your dog training needs.

We took my 4 year old female chocolate Labrador to the onsite training program. She was stubborn, emotional, and stuck in her ways. It was all of the good reviews on here that convinced me that if there was hope for her, it was this place. First visit, she was already healing and using her head more to think about her actions, which was already a big step for her. We lost time due to a week of rain but Jesus made sure that she came home once she was ready. My dog, Vaitai, knows how to listen now and I never thought I’d see the day. We can walk her now without her trying to go after everyone. She can enjoy her life more now that she isn't always in trouble and enjoy ours now too. It requires training at home after, since thats where she is comfortable. But, staying consistent has helped her break bad habits. She also hasn't tried to run out of the doors once, which was one thing we thought would be hardest. Great place, worth every penny. Side note: when we went out of town, we boarded Vaitai with Jesus for a few days a couple weeks after training. We thought she would freak out going back there since she was away from home the time before so long. She was happy to see him, was wagging her tail, and barely looked back at me as i left. She loves him.
We had a fantastic experience with the dog training and boarding program! Jesus was a very knowledgeable, kind trainer who worked with our puppy for two weeks. She came back a new dog—well-behaved, potty trained, and responsive to several commands. She learned how to walk properly on a leash too. We are so grateful and thankful for his services and highly recommend him!
My pitty Luca was very reactive to other dogs and it was beginning to be really stressful on our family. I was extremely impressed with the work that Jesus did to train luca and make him less reactive to other dogs barking. He also took the time to show my wife and I, how to react in certain heightened situations! I would recommend him to anyone who has a reactive dog! Thanks again
