What do your services include?
We provide board and train and boarding services 365 days per year in our home. All pups get to enjoy our 5-acre yard, receive complimentary access to our indoor pool, and will receive chauffeur service to and from Happy Pup Manor within 1 hour. All pups go home with a complimentary bath, and board and train programs include a go-home lesson in your home.

What exactly happens during my dog’s stay?
Your pup follows a schedule. Each morning, we take the pups outside to play. They’re free to run around our fenced backyard or relax in or by the saltwater pool, always supervised by a Happy Pup Manor team member. They enjoy two mealtimes, one in the morning and evening, and return to their crates around 10pm. Throughout their stay, your pup will socialize with the other dogs and, if you so choose, can participate in individual swimming lessons or other amenities.

I've been looking for a place to board my Labradoodle when I travel and Happy Pup Manor has an impressive website. It shows joyful dogs jumping in the indoor pool, playing in what looks like a family home and running on fresh green grass. I was sold until I called them. I spoke to the co-owner, he told me they recently moved from Barrington to Grayslake. No big deal to me the location isn't a deal breaker. As he talked about their expansion and ongoing construction and how they currently board about 40 dogs at a time, I asked when I could come take a look before making a week-long reservation. Surprisingly, he said I could not visit. He then suggested we FaceTime. He showed me the new construction building interior and outdoor fencing but that's it. When asked if I could see the main house with the dogs he said no. He said he understood if I didn't feel comfortable with that and that was the end of the conversation. I did not book this place to board my love. From what I could see from the construction in progress, that place is not fit for dogs. The new location is not covered in lush grass and the house, as he explained, is a concrete fortress not a new construction Tudor style mansion like the website video makes you believe. I can't believe that people allow this place to board their dogs without ever seeing where their dog will stay. Red flag! For these reasons I give it one star for falsely advertising a dream experience that does not resemble reality.

I had such an amazing experience sending my 1 year old toy poodle to happy pup manor for board and train. I had been working with a different trainer and I felt like we had reached a plateau. She is high anxiety and putting the leash on/off had become extremely stressful for her. She would also refuse to walk outside my building in a busy area. She now loves putting her leash on and off and walks like a pro. Everyone at Happy pup listened to my concerns with her and kept me in the loop with her progress. I am so grateful!!

I can't say enough positive things about Happy Pup Manor and their entire staff! My pup Chase attended training and has boarded with them and loves going to Happy Pup Manor when we are away. Their communication is impeccable and they make sure to provide frequent updates along with pictures and videos of our pup. Chase has a smile on his face in every picture they send and is the most happy pup when he gets home. Gabby is outstanding and opens her beautiful home to all of the dogs and cares for them as her own. Happy Pup Manor is the only place I trust with my pup and allows me to travel peacefully knowing Chase is truly being cared for and loved on. I definitely recommend Happy Pup Manor for all your doggie needs! They are truly incredible and always go above and beyond in all that they do.
