Happy Dog Canine Training

Jade is top notch! I had previously called him for our puppy and he answered all the questions I had with confidence. I barely got any info in and he knew the exact problems we were having and exactly what to do to fix them. We just wasn’t sure at the time about training since he was still so young, we thought maybe he would grow out of it. But a few weeks ago after he had turned a year we realized we would definitely need some extra help. Wes was pulling so bad on the leash. He wouldn’t listen when being called. Would barge right out the door. Jumping on people. Etc. And nothing we did ever seemed to help. When jade brought Wes back it was like night and day. He sat in my front yard completely off leash just chilling. There were distractions and he was focused. I can say I was so worried. My dog is my baby and here I am just handing him off to someone I don’t know. But jade genuinely loves the dogs he trains. If you were to listen to any review, here’s one. If you’re thinking about training with happy dog canine, just do it. I was in literally tears when he brought Wes back because I now can enjoy being a dog mom. When used to everything felt like stepping on glass. We couldn’t take him outside without him lunging or pulling. Couldn’t have people over because of his jumping. Couldn’t take him anywhere. Now, like I said it’s night and day. I am so grateful!

We cannot thank K9 Academy enough for getting our wonderful puppy Molly to a place where she is now a model dog. We can take her off leash almost anywhere we go. She is great with other dogs and with people of all ages. There was a time when we were not sure we could control Molly, but thanks to four nights with Ronnie, Molly is obedient and much happier. We could not be more happy with the training and highly recommend K9 Academy to all our friends with dogs.

We recently adopted Sadie from a local shelter. Her original owner died and Sadie was alone in the house for 22 days before she was discovered. So to say the least she had developed some behaviors and phobias. She needed help! That’s where Jade with Happy Dog came in. In efforts to help Sadie I searched the web, read reviews, and decided to reach out to Happy Dog. Now, you talk about nervous!!! We were turning our fur baby over to a complete stranger. Saige, Jades wife picked Sadie up. She visited with us and explained the training process. She took her time and gained our trust but we had not met Jade. So, again We had no clue who was training our baby or what he was doing with her. Saige drove off with our 9mo old Sadie and we just had to trust we were doing the right thing for her! Saige did tell us that Jade was very busy so just allow him to do what he does best without interruptions. Now, I’m not gonna lie, 22 days felt like forever!!! On day 22 Jade drove up, opened his truck door and Sadie jumped out. She was wagging her tail but remained hyper focused on Jade. After introductions and some loving on Sadie, Jade kicked into turbo and began to show us what Sadie had learned while teaching us commands, movements, and responses at the same time. Sadie followed commands like a rock star and she absolutely loved working!!! It was also apparent she loved Jade as well. I fought back tears watching her work. Then it was our turn. That girl was amazing!!! She followed our commands like a pro. Jade was challenged to show us how to correct Sadie’s mistakes…She made none! We have nothing but high praise for Saige and Jade and are so grateful for all they have done to allow Sadie a chance to live her best life!!!

We sent our 6mo old golden retriever to Happy Dog for off-leash training and truth be told, it was the longest 3 weeks without my puppy. HOWEVER, our dog was completely transformed by this training. She went from a 6mo tornado, to a well behaved, well trained, pup. She is able to independently walk off leash with little to no corrections. I’m actually writing this review from the vets office while she lays at my feet with 3 other dogs around. We could not recommend this business more! Jade was incredibly professional and even spent 2 hours at drop off time to explain to us (in detail) everything River learned. He showed us personally & then waited until River responded to both my husband and I’s voice. If you’re looking for someone who is going to not only train your pet, but also love them, this is your place! Our daily lives have been transformed by the freedom that off leash training provides. 10/10 recommend.
