Gulf Coast K9 Dog Training

We decided to go with Jillian because she has multiple pitbulls, and her story why she began training really resonated with us. We dropped off our 6-year-old pittie, who was wild on the leash and struggled to regulate his emotions in certain situations, but the training program really made a HUGE difference. What we loved most about Jillian’s program was that it was tailored to our needs and our dog’s needs. We also liked how the program was structured, with time to practice between training sessions. Since Jillian owns multiple dogs and works closely with another trainer, our dog was always around other dogs, which helped him stay focused around distractions which this has helped tremendously! Jillian was amazing, supportive, and accommodating throughout the entire training. We truly recommend her and the program!!

We cannot thank Jillian and the team at Gulf Coast K9 Dog Training enough for how wonderfully they cared for Tux during his Board & Train program. Sending your dog away can be stressful, but Jillian made us feel completely at ease. She is incredibly skilled, patient, and deeply caring. Tux absolutely adores her, and it is so clear how happy he always is to see her. The training results have been fantastic, but the peace of mind knowing he was loved and safe was priceless. Jillian , we’d like to thank you for the transformation of Niko, after our first conversation we knew you were the one individual that would make this possible. Within the first week when Niko came home we noticed a huge difference as we practiced with him during our homework lesson and each week we were overwhelmed as we watched Niko become the dog of our dreams.When we met up with Jillian for our follow up session we actually realized how much our Niko really grew as a person and how he allowed us to learn with him and accomplish the goal

Jillian is a miracle worker. She has transformed our insecure rescue Scooby into a confident, obedient and sweet dog by helping him get over his fears and really enjoy life with us his family. Scooby was a challenge for sure as he was an emotional basket case. Hats off Jillian. She worked with us every week for 5 weeks and in the end we have a confident, responsive dog that is playful and happy. His leash reactivity is gone. He has a reliable recall and doesn’t panic in uncomfortable situations. Best of all he doesn’t leave our presence. ( we live in an area filled with gators and coyotes). So she eliminated the danger he can put himself in every day. Our dog is safe and a pleasure to be around thanks to the tireless efforts of Jillian.

We noticed that Jillian had experience with larger dogs and after our first conversation we knew we made the right choice. Our 55 lbs, 3yr rescue PIT needed some guidance and after completing his 2nd week of training camp, we can already see a big change. He loves being dropped off to learn. Having a knowledgeable trainer teaching both dog and owner is a recipe for success. We fully intend to continue providing a stable and happy home for our dog.
