Green Mountain K9 Dog Training | Swanzey

I decided to go to Green Mountain K9 for my 2 German Shepherds. I was having a difficult time taking them in public. My dogs were very reactive to other dogs and would be come unmanageable to the point that I had to pick them up and carry them out of the store. I took them to a local training group that was known to specialize in German Shepherds and I was told by the head trainer that there was no way this was going to end well and my dogs should be separated. I went to Green Mountain and the owner, Chris, had them responding perfectly on leash in one session. He them took the time to train me to do the same. We continued with training and now both dogs can walk in public on or off leash, one competes in a frisbee competition and people tell me all the time how well behaved they are. It was night and day between the 2 trainers and wow what a difference. The quality of life for me and the dogs has increased so much because of the training given by Green Mountain.

We are forever grateful to have met Chris and his team of expert trainers. They saved our sweet girl Koda’s life and we couldn’t be more thankful. I was VERY honest about Koda’s behaviors and was so scared that she was too aggressive and wouldn’t be accepted into the program.Chris was very straightforward with the expectations and responsibilities for the training process. He was extremely flexible with his schedule by tailoring the training around my work schedule because we lived over an hour and a half away.(Even though he and his partner were about to have a baby!! He could hear the desperation in my voice) The money and the drive were worth every single penny! My girl can now participate in all family activities and be outside off leash. I was nervous about the style of training because it was not familiar to me, but after he explained it in depth, and answered all the questions that I had, I knew it was clear that he was a professional and had my dogs best interest at hand. My family knows that being able to take part in that training after we felt lost with no other options, made us feel like we are part of the green mountain family. I know that we can call Chris or a member of his team anytime and they’ll always help us out. If you want a professional who knows exactly what to do to get real results, check these guys out. Don’t waste your money on trainers that are going to make you stuff treats down your dog’s throat or massage them when they want to attack anything in site like we did. That was our dog after several attempts with expensive trainers and no results… until we met Chris. NOW, our girl is living her best life. ❤️🐾
