Our dog Henry is a TWCH and a rescue who had to fight for food and was housed with in a rabbit hutch outdoors in January as a puppy. He’s very smart, loving and sweet, and also anxious and fearful of people he doesn’t know. He was growing fast and we had trouble controlling him, he was a nightmare on a leash and was wild and so we were not able to enjoy him. Then he bit our neighbor- we knew we had to get help. We found Chris and are so grateful that we did! The first lesson he had Henry walking obediently on leash. He then trained us to do this! Next lesson Henry was off leash- we walked off leash on Main St in Keene, past people, dogs, bikes cars etc. Henry remained calm and walked next to me! I had tears in my eyes!! Long story short we now have a dog that we enjoy and he is happier than ever. Henry is off leash everyday and very obedient. We take him everywhere with us and cannot express how grateful we are to Chris for his help! I highly recommend his service!!

I hired Chris almost 2 years ago to help me work with my fear-aggressive dog with a bite history. We completed training with him (see previous review) and have even added additional training to regain confidence after Bo was attacked by another dog. We recently were in a situation where I had to walk Bo by a table that had a dog laying underneath. "On me" is our command to let Bo know I need the utmost focus from him, and I used it - Bo tucked in closer to my side and looked up at me for direction. As we passed the table, the other dog jumped out, growled, and snapped at Bo's hip. My dog, once deemed a "lost cause" / aggressive / "won't ever be safe around anyone", did EXACTLY what Chris and I trained him to do. He jumped to the other side of me (away from the other dog), sat down, and made eye contact - waiting for direction in how to act. My dog, who is 110lbs of mixed working breed, did EXACTLY what was asked of him without me having to cue (other than the initial "on-me") or correct/guide him. He did that all on his own. I cannot thank Chris enough for his faith in Bo's trainability, his trust and support of a dog that was previously deemed unworthy, his hard work in setting us up for success, and his dedication to Bo's wellbeing as a well-rounded and safe pet.
