Our dog has been going to Grateful Dog twice a week since it opened 9 years ago when she was just a 6 month old puppy with all the necessary shots. She is ecstatic to get out of the car and go in to play with her friends, canine and human, for the day. At the end of the day we get a report on what she's been up to for the day, which activities and dogs were her favorite, and how she seemed, in general. Caroline Albert, the owner, has helped me with the training for this dog since I got her at 8 weeks old. Caroline and her daughter, Cassidy, are two of the most caring, gentle dog "handlers" I have ever seen. I have boarded my dog with them. Other employees of the Grateful Dog have stayed in my house to take care of my dog when we were out of town. This is an amazing resource for dog owners in the area who want to leave their dog during the day in an environment that is safe, healthy, totally dog-centered and where your dog is cared for and gently helped to behave properly. It couldn't be any better.
