Grace Dog Training & Behavior

Ana Melara, owner of Grace Dog Training & Behavior has been our dog trainer for many years. My first service dog was trained by Ana and my second (current) service dog was trained by her as well. She is very kind to her clients and true to herself. No harsh training methods are used when you come see her, all positive work. She has been a dog trainer for many years and knows dog behavior like the back of her hand. My family and I will always appreciate her.

Ana is an amazing dog trainer! Her work is purely in the best interest of every being in every situation, not just the dog or the human. She strives to make every home a happy home for everyone! Not only does she focus on what the dog needs from a training perspective, but she is able to recognize when the behavior is due to an old training technique that was poor, an emotional situation from past or present, a nutritional issue, or a musculoskeletal issue. Everything a dog does is in efforts to communicate something to us. She teaches us humans how to become more aware and understand what the dog is saying. She want to educate above all else and is very willing to work with all of us where ever we are at money wise, time wise, ability wise, and capability wise and is very clear about her programs. And if the dog needs other services she is the first to recommend the right professional for the job with reputable experience. I will always and forever use Ana and Grace Dog Training for my boarding, training, and resource needs when it comes to my furry kids. ❤️

Ana is the absolute best!!! Our family was really struggling with our newest addition to our family, a lab/hound mix - Banjo <3 Anything that we had done with our first dog was not working with Banjo and we didn't know where to turn. Ana jumped in and helped teach us humans how to be better parents and communicators -- She has an incredible range of knowledge and expertise and trains with confidence and kindness (both for the humans and the dogs). We are forever grateful that we found her and 100% would recommend her services!

I bet they are good at training dogs, unfortunately for me my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer a week after buying a training package and only attended the orientation. At the time my main priority was to take care of my mom in Texas, I tried calling and also leaving a email through their website about maybe putting my package on hold or refunding so when I'm back I can start back up or just something so I wouldn't lose the money, but I never did get a response. During this time my mom was going through surgery and chemo so it was very emotional for the family, I do admit I forgot about this well being in Texas. I came back a few months ago and happened to drive past their building and remembered about this whole thing. I understand that they might have some rules about the package plan or refunding but the part that I'm very unhappy with is that NO body responded at all! Zero in customer service!! A simple response would make a huge difference. I have been trying to reach them again this week and still no response. $280 might not seem like a lot to some people but I'm not the wealthiest person to just give away. As for my mom the cancer has spread and I've decided to just move there, and hope she has more years left. Customer service goes a long way. I wish I could recommend them since they do have a lot of good reviews but in my experience it's something that I can't do.
