FirstBarkWe loved working with Good Dogz KC. We have a miniature dachshund puppy that we weren't sure what to do with because she is always full of energy and there were concerns with puppy biting. Jahaira taught us several skills to use to help deal with our concerns and to build our puppy's confidence. We highly recommend them!

After meeting with several other local dog trainers, I knew within minutes of talking with Andrew we would move forward with Good Dogz KC. Their approach didn't sound extreme (and it isn't!), the results sounded attainable (and they are!) and they were flexible, given that we have three little kids we often have to schedule around. We have been working with Andrew & Jahaira since January and just completed our sessions for our newly adopted Aussie/Great Pyrenees mix, Bagel. We have been able to calm her anxiety and mistrust toward visitors, improve her recall and general training and as an added bonus, we've noticed her chewing has decreased significantly. Andrew & Jahaira worked with us one hour a week and taught us the skills we needed as pet owners to help Bagel - then it was up to us to work with her, for not much time at all, throughout the rest of the week. It has made a world of difference. We can't recommend Good Dogz KC enough!
Andrew and Jahaira taught us so much! We had some concerns about our dog’s anxiousness and showing some aggression. They taught us not only what to do about these issues but also why they were happening. I highly recommend them!

I cannot say enough good things about Good Dogz KC! We adopted our puppy, Suki, in June 2024 and knew we wanted to have her professionally trained, especially with having young kids. We were thoroughly impressed with Suki’s skills after her board and train. I really liked how we were able to practice the skills with our kiddos before we brought her home. Andrew and Jahaira have such an easeful way of explaining things that help you feel so confident in applying the skills when it’s time to take your pup home. We also boarded Suki with them while we went on vacation, she loved playing with the other dogs and we loved that she got a little refresher. If you’re looking to get your dog professionally trained, look no further than Good Dogz KC!!

Andrew with Good Dogz KC has been invaluable to our family. After losing our 15 yo dog last year, we were finally ready to adopt again. Our new pup Clifford had had a tough year before coming to us and was understandably fearful, especially of men and new people coming into our house. We wanted him to have the best life possible and to learn to live without fear, so we turned to Good Dogz KC. Andrew has shared so much wonderful information with us and works with us each week to help us with Clifford. While still a little tentative and reactive (it's only been three weeks), he has come so far. We are so glad we connected with Andrew and are so appreciative of his training, guidance and insights. Highly recommend.
