About Golden Paws Dog Training
Golden Paws Dog Training offers fun, effective In-Person and Online dog training using positive reinforcement methods. Our new facility serves Minnesota’s Iron Range, including Virginia, Hibbing, Eveleth, Gilbert, Mountain Iron, Palo, Aurora, Hoyt Lakes, Biwabik, Embarrass, Babbitt, Tower, Ely, and Duluth. We specialize in puppy training, basic manners, obedience, rally, agility, canine good citizen prep, and behavior modification. Online classes, workshops, and webinars are also available through Fenzi Dog Sports Academy. Whether you’re raising a puppy, working on manners, or preparing for competition, we can help!

When is the best time to start training my dog?
It's best to start when your dog is a puppy! The important socialization period is from about 3 weeks of age until about 14-16 weeks of age, and it's super important that you properly socialize during this time. Our puppy socialization package gives you that opportunity to socialize and start to train your dog. The manners classes will help your dog learn basic manners and obedience skills.

Fabulous. Nicole is the best!
Three of my children are training dogs at Golden paws dog training this year. It’s a 4-H project that works with this training facility. It’s an amazing experience for kids and it’s amazing that they’re willing to take the time to do it.
Very professional, knowledgeable. Nice, clean, comfortable indoor facility.
I have had my English Cocker go to Golden Paws several times. He is now taking a refresher course. Or should I say … I am taking a refresher class. Nicole and her staff have always been top notch. I am a senior citizen with hearing aids. I recommend this facility. It is clean, you can hear well and the staff is at the top of their class!
