Fantastic dog trainers and much more! Did my off leash obedience training, currently doing agility training and utilize the day care services provided. Also participate in the wkly training walks for program graduates. Could not ask for better trainers and support!

I trained both of my dogs with Golden Compass since they were puppies. They are well-versed with all sorts of obedience and behavioral training and know how to manage various types of dog breeds and personalities. They also help you with things like grooming, crating and off leash walks so you can go the extra mile in integrating your dog into your life/family. I trust them fully with the care of my dogs and recommend them to everyone who asks for dog trainers in the area! We’re now part of their dog agility fleet and have been doing this for 2+ years now. They’ve taken us from ground zero to competitive level and have built such a fun community for dog sport lovers here in Wilmington. It’s perfect whether you’re looking to pick up a new hobby and meet some friends, bond with your dog, or enhance your skillset to get to the next level!

If you’re thinking about it, CALL! I rescued a 5 year old pit mix and struggled with her reactivity for years. I tried other trainers and all the self-help tips you could imagine but nothing worked. I called Golden Compass and have never looked back. They took the time to know not just me but my dog and that has made all the difference. My dog is now able to be off leash with excellent recall and her quality of life is through the roof. I’m less frustrated, which means she is less frustrated and we have way more fun together. If you’re worried about cost, I worked to save up and it’s worth every penny and then some! It is not just training but investing in your pup and your family. My parents are now looking to use Golden Compass for their dog too! I’ll never go anywhere else for training help. Love my Golden Compass trainers.
