Golden Compass Canine Training

I was surprised with a puppy for my birthday and had no clue what to do. Several people recommended Golden Compass Canine Training to me and I don’t know what I would have done without them! Oakley and I started with Puppy Fleet, then graduated to Expedition (e-collar), and now she attends day care. Our relationship is leaps and bounds stronger than the first day when we showed up to puppy class. The support and recommendations you receive are invaluable. Oakley and I now understand each other which allows me to feel confident taking her anywhere with me. I can’t believe how far we have come from that first day and I am so thankful I made the decision to train with Golden Compass Canine Training.

I just finished the expedition program with my 3 year old golden retriever and couldn’t be happier with our outcome. Before our training, I thought we were going to have to live with Dillon’s puppy-like behavior forever. He was impulsive, no leash skills, no recall, and was always getting into trouble! Kayla helped change all of that for us and now Dillon is so much more well behaved and a joy to have around! Walks are enjoyable again, he’s able to chill out when we need him to, and he actually comes when we call him. I couldn’t recommend Golden Compass and specifically Kayla as a trainer more! I’m looking forward to joining some fleet meets in the near future to further his skills. Thank you Kayla!!!

The trainers and staff at Golden Compass are fantastic. They helped us create a relationship with structure for our Great Dane/Mastiff from puppy to adulthood! She now attends structured daycare where she can continue her learning, and be surrounded by people, along with dogs, she loves. Everyone who meets our dog complaints us in her behavior. We cannot say enough about Golden Compass Canine! All our future dogs will be training with them as well.

I’ve worked with Golden Compass canine training with both of my Retrievers. We have attended puppy classes, engaged in different type of social situations/trainings with the dogs, fleet walks, bravery classes, scent and agility classes and even one on one trainings. They work with you, the pet parent, to understand the dog in front of you and to strengthen the relationship. I do not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for the best training experience with their pet.

I tried other trainers in the area before I made the switch to Golden Compass Canine Training and I am SO thankful I did! They are hands-down worth the investment! Their training transformed Jax, (my dog) and the follow-up support through structured daycare has been invaluable. The team genuinely cares, making sure every lesson sticks and that progress continues well beyond the initial sessions. For anyone who wonders if the cost is justified, I can say the results and the peace of mind are priceless. Golden Compass offers incredible, lasting value for anyone serious about their dog’s development. Jax has also lost 10 pounds this year from running on the treadmill at structured play! He loves it!
