Finding the right trainer for my dog, Rockoford was important. I rescued my dog about two years ago with little knowledge of his breed or background. I wanted to find a trainer who would understand him, build his confidence, and teach him manners while teaching me along the way. Courtney Robbins and her team are exceptional. From the time I contacted them until our evaluation, all my questions and concerns were answered. Rockoford was dog reactive, people reactive, attention seeking and in your face when someone came inside, escape artist, ran the other direction when called, moving cars were evil, birds were threats, and loved others to hear his voice when on the phone or if food was nearby. I was really concerned about him jumping on people when they came into the house especially having parents that are aging and with stability issues. Courtney and her team have been amazing in instilling confidence in my dog while letting him have fun. After a couple sessions of “school”, I could tell an immediate difference in how Rockoford carried himself and acted. I continue to send him to school two days a week. He adores Courtney and everyone at “school”. I am proud to walk him through the neighborhood showing off all he has learned, but what is even better is watching him. He can walk by another person or dog without coming undone and acting a fool. Many neighbors in the past have commented about my patience and tolerance with my dog. The typical dog walking the owner scenario with a dash of three year old toddler tantrums in dog form. Courtney and her team have this innate ability to understand what each dog needs. I look forward to “school” mornings and pick-ups. I look forward to the pictures and videos of Rockofords days. I have learned just as much as Rockoford has and together we have become a better team. This dog is more than a family pet. He is a comforter, healer, pillow, soul soother, mood booster, and best friend to myself and kids. It was important that I found a trainer that understood what he means to me and to not change the dog he is when there is no one else but my kids and I around. Rockoford wants nothing more than to protect his people and keep them safe. Courtney has given him the ability to know he is capable of being a protector but having manners. I cannot express my gratitude and support for the exceptional and phenomenal service provided by Global K9 Protection. If you are on contemplating training for your dog, do it! It is the best gift you can give to yourself and your dog.

We were really struggling with our two Australian Shepherds with obedience training until we were referred to Courtney with Global K9. They were very responsive and accommodating and got us in quickly so that they could begin. The minute we went to pick up the first dog I could see a difference as soon as we saw her. They have definitely laid the groundwork for us to have a happy home with our pups! I would definitely recommend them for any puppy and behavior training needs. Update...we picked up the second puppy and definitely pleased again. We have a lot of continued training to do, but they have taught us the ways.

I sent my German Shepherd puppy to Global the beginning of March. I sent him down to start the training as my service dog. I just got him back this weekend and I absolutely in awe in what they have taught him so far. He is a completely different dog and I’m so glad I decided to send him to Global. Courtney and Global K9 are the best of the best. He will be going back in July for the second part of his training and I can’t wait to see how much more he will learn. This was the best decision I have ever made. I 100% recommend them!
