Shelly has an amazing ability to connect with animals. She worked mainly with one of my dogs who needs the training (a young German Shepherd mix), specifically when it came to walking/not being distracted/jumping. She listened to what I told her about what Max was like, experienced it herself and made firm and gentle corrections that Max quickly took to. Shelly answered every and any question I had, gave excellent advice and offered a variety of solutions. She also was kind enough to help me with my other dog who is very well behaved but has a phobia of certain objects. She communicates quickly, clearly and has followed up several times to make sure we were all doing okay. She has such a kind/gentle personality and is clearly great at what she does--and is sincere in looking for success for pup and pup parent alike! She doesn't exaggerate a problem just to continue to get repeated business--she really is looking to help resolve the issues, which is so rare and refreshing. I'm highly anxious and cautious about who I let around my dogs and would reach out to Shelly any time and recommend her to anyone. You really will be in good hands. We have been customers of Fur Keepers Pet Sitting since the beginning of their business. Kerry and Michelle treat our 3 dogs like their own. They give my seniors (14 yrs old) medications and make sure they make it up and down our stairs. My younger dog is attached to me, so Michelle gives him extra love. They send pictures and messages to us from each visit. With them in and our, picking up and mail, etc. no one knows we are not their. We highly recommend them. In our opinion, you will never find anyone else so loving and caring for your fur-babies.
