Freedom K9

I took my dog Koa to Freedom k9 after my mom took her dog through a Behavior Modification a few years ago, after seeing the spectacular results my mom got when my dog was old enough I decided to send him through the Day Train program. Koa before training had quite a few naughty behaviors he was your typical lab that would chew on anything in sight. Koa was also a very low confident dog with bad separation anxiety, also growling at new people. Freedom k9 was able to help build his confidence, work on his separation anxiety where I can leave the house without having to worry about him. Freedom k9 gave me the tools for me to go anywhere and everywhere with my dog with no worries. It is enjoyable for me to be able to have my dog off leash at the lake thanks to Freedom k9.

I have a three year old Pit Bull that had all kinds of bad habits(inherited the dog from my son). I was thinking about their intensive three week training. Was quit a financial investment. I ran into Jackie(?)in the lobby (when I was there to board Luna for the first time) and she raved about her dog, after going through the training. I signed her up and what a difference!!!!!! She can now be an in the house, off lead, family member. So many improvements!!!!! Can’t say enough about them and their training!!!!!!

We adopted our baby girl Soka who is a Husky/Shepard mix from a shelter when we soon realized we needed a lot of obedience work with her. Though she was a sweet girl she had high energy and was chewing on house items, not potty trained, no recall, would jump up on everyone and everything and had a high prey drive which was a huge concern with us having cats. We had to make the decision to return her to the shelter or seek help from someone else to keep her in our family. We heard about Freedom K9 through a friend who also went for some obedience training. We decided that Soka needed a lot of work and the three week board and train course was the best option. When we got to see her again after the training ended she was a completely changed dog. She was prong collar and ecollar trained along with verbal and hand commands. Her behavior was so much better with her listening and reactivity to her environment. If it wasn’t for the amazing staff and training at Freedom K9 we wouldn't have one of the best adventure buddies we could have asked for. We are forever grateful for their time and help with our fur baby and would highly recommend others who are in need of help with their dogs to seek them out as well. Thank you again for helping us be able to keep our baby girl Soka and give her a great life as she deserves! We couldn’t imagine life without her.

The Freedom K9 team was amazing! My dog has never listened so good in his 2 years of life. He was very stubborn, listened when he wanted to, and pulled while on walks. All of that is gone. I’m so so thankful for Catherine taking the time to train me and be what I needed to be to lead my dog. He amazes me everyday with how much he listens and I couldn’t have done that without Freedom K9. Thank you so so much! No more pulling, so off for a walk we go!
