Freedom K9

We send a huge thank you out to Freedom K9 for the amazing job they did training our Goldendoodle puppy. She went into the 3 week Board and Train when she was 6 months old. She was an excited jumper and biter, she did not walk well on a leash, she would not come when called, she would not crate train, and alot of other bad manners! Such a lover though! She now has manners! She is our off leash girl and comes when called every time!! She heels and walks on a leash. We can take her anywhere. We will be forever thankful to Catherine and Kindle for doing an amazing job and for always being there to answer our questions and give support.

Taking both our rescue dogs to Freedom K9 was the best thing we could have done for them & our family. We rescued Dusty 1st and had done some basic training with him that was not sticking. He is a little on the stubborn side, had recall issues, food aggression, anxiety, and I know there are somethings missing from this list. Next thing we knew we were talking about getting a buddy for Dusty... Well called the same rescue and found out his litter mate Dallas had been returned as he was not a good fit in the home he first went to. Well could not turn him down. So both of them of course were feeding off of each others bad habits and the food aggression one day in the car put me over the edge to get something done with them before they hurt each other or someone. Called Kindle went down for a meet and greet and scheduled them for the Board & Train for 3 weeks. I have to say it was not easy having them gone for that time, but so worth it. Kindle and her team kept us in the loop the whole time they were there. When we went to pick them up it was a great reunion! They were the same silly, loving, and happy dogs as before now just with manners and skills to use everyday for them and for us. Could have not made a better decision to do this journey. To this day we do Pack Walks as much as possible and use Siskiyou Pet Care when we are not able to take them with us on business trips. Thank you to Kindle and her fabulous staff for taking such great care of them while in training & now. P.S. Forgot how much they love it when dropped off for boarding they don't even look back.

Freedom K9 taught me a lot about myself as well as how to work with my dogs in a win-win situation. When it comes to dogs, it was the best investment I've ever made. We take our dogs everywhere; people stop, and acknowledge their good behavior. Over the years, Kindle has been available to me in situations like the time my dog found some gopher bait or the time he was attacked by coyotes. Both unfortunate events happened on weekends. She was there! With what I have learned from Freedom K9, training our new dogs get the benefit of my education. I especially enjoy our weekly pack walks. Every Friday she shares beneficial information on all kinds of dog related topics. Kindles' vast education and pertise are certainly a cut above the rest.

I am so grateful for Freedom K9. My dog Tink came from animal control and had very little training prior to this. I had difficulty getting her to listen to commands. She would pull on the leash when we went for walks and she would jump on people when they came to visit. Things are so different after going through the program. Tink is a true joy to be around. Thank you Freedom K9! I'm also posting a review for my brother Jim McNeill since he is old school and doesn't have a Google account. Lol. Jr had issues learning to stay in one place, had little inclination to lay down on command, and wanted to "hug" (with exuberance) anyone he met. Freedom K9 training taught him manners, and taught me how to continue his progress. Now I can have him stay in one place while I work on chores, and he sits & lays down on command. He treats new people with far more respect than he used to; but we're working on improving on that as well.

Scout and I received valuable training from Freedom K9 ...It was the best decision both for her and for our family. We adopted Scout from a shelter and she had no manners at all when we got her. We wanted to be sure that we trained her in a way that she could have a full, happy and active life including hiking, traveling and other activities with us. The training we received addressed several bad manners (jumping up, leash pulling, etc.) and provided both Scout and our family the skills for success. She is so sweet and such a joy to be around! The Freedom K9 trainers are knowledgeable and patient and the program works!
