We have two golden doodles- age 3 and 1. They are sweet dogs, but the 3 yr old is incredibly spoiled and the 1 yr old still has puppy in him. This was affecting their behavior as well as our enjoyment of them. We were needing help getting good manners with guests (no jumping and barking), and we were needing help on the leash. The pulling, barking, and literal screaming to greet other dogs was so embarrassing and unenjoyable, we quit taking them on walks. Eric was incredibly helpful on all fronts. He gave us the tools we needed and clear instruction. We were able to watch him train, and then he would have us do exactly what we just watched. This gave him a chance to guide, encourage, and correct things we were doing. I cannot stress how helpful it was to have one on one help- in our own home! He would text between lessons to check in which I appreciated. It gave me a gentle reminder to work on our skills, but it also presented an opportunity to ask questions if I had any. Eric was so great with our dogs and quick to respond for any texts or calls on my end. We highly recommend him to work with your pups- we are so thankful for his help!

We scheduled an eight week training program with Eric for our two year old schnauzer Augie with the focus on general commands and some socialization practices. Augie loved Eric and was responsive to his commands. Well after the training was complete Augie has continued to obey our instructions and his interaction with other dogs is vastly improved. Not wanting to lose what has been accomplished so far, we have scheduled monthly follow up sessions with Eric for the foreseeable future. Eric has become more friend than trainer and we thoroughly enjoy our time together. What a wonderful experience this has been. Ernie and Blanche Felts

Eric was incredible with my impulsive puppy, Palmer. Before training, she was jumpy, mouthy, and pulled constantly on walks. Her jumping and mouthiness have improved so much that I now feel comfortable bringing her around my grandma and young niece who is scared of dogs. Her leash manners are dramatically better, making our walks actually enjoyable, and her recall has improved tremendously. Eric’s tips and guidance were just as valuable as the training itself. He made everything easy to understand and gave us tools we’ll continue to use long after training. I highly recommend Eric!
