FOLLOW THE LEDA

My ~18-month-old Airedale and I have been attending classes at Follow the Leda for a few months and we've had an incredibly positive experience. The instructors with whom we've worked use an almost exclusively positive reinforcement approach (no punishment whatsoever, which is great!) and our dog has responded so well; she retains her learning from class to class. She's always excited when we get to the facility and nice and sleepy when we get home! The building and equipment are also maintained well and there is clearly so much care and intentionality that goes into both the classes and the overall structure of their training program.

We started attending Follow the Leda after taking some introductory classes elsewhere. We really "leveled-up!" since coming to FTL! We work with Cindy, who is just a phenomenal teacher! We have learned skills and terminology that are common in agility, and we've done tons of drills to really drill home some foundational skills. This year we attended our first agility competition and were delighted to do well, thanks to all the work Cindy has done with us. Possibility the best part about FTL is the community spirit--we've learned so much from our classmates! They are all much more experienced than us, and we've learned so much from their insights and observations, as well as some of their hand-me-downs. FTL has parties and games and celebrations all the time, as well as in-depth workshops with outside experts. This is an amazing place to attend regardless of whether you are new to agility or a seasoned expert.
