FirstBarkEric is a good human who saves some of the toughest unwanted dogs from death row, trains them for as long as they need, and finds them loving appropriate homes. The world is lucky to have people like him. He doesn’t give up on dogs, and he is polite and kind to me when I ask him questions to help me with my difficult dogs. I have learned so much from his videos over the years.

Follow the Leader K9 offers dog training for dogs of all breeds and temperaments. We specialize in creating a unique training approach for every dog and owner that we work with. In addition to individual training sessions, we offer day and overnight training programs, all on our half acre training facility. We have two mottos: “If we love them, lead them", and, "We don't blame them, we train them".

This overnight training camp will give your dog 24 hrs of complete immersion from Monday through Friday. Every day they will take part in our day training camp, and every night they will be sleeping in the home of our master trainer. An end of week "go home session" is included. I am currently fostering a pitbull who had numerous behavioral issues - reactivity towards other dogs, intense prey drive, separation anxiety (whining/howling), lease pulling, you name it. Eric volunteered his time to help us because he is compassionate and loves dogs more than anyone I know. Prior to Eric, I was always nervous to walk the pitbull on my own (keep in mind he is an 80lb dog) because of his reactivity and lease pulling. Eric taught us how to integrate e-collar and prong collars into our training and use humanely and effectively as a communication tool. Also learned a lot about dog psychology and understanding our dog's needs from him. After only two sessions, we saw SIGNIFICANT improvement and can actually enjoy walks for once, leave him at home alone, etc. Eric truly is a dog whisperer and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a dog trainer. Our pitbull also adores him so much!
