I will forever be grateful that I was introduced to Eric and his pack and can't say enough amazing things about him. He is kind, smart, and like no other when it comes to working with dogs. How many people are willing to take on a dog from the shelter that has extreme behavioral issue (aggression, bite history, etc) and transform it into into a wonderfully trained dog that gets a loving home. Eric's way with both his own pack, clients dogs, and foster dogs is priceless. The training skills and knowledge that Eric has shared with me has made a world of difference. He is professional and reliable and treats his board and trains as if they were his own. His commitment to humanely training a dog to be it's best self shows his love for the animal and for the work his does. I am very particular about who I trust with my 3 dogs and I would hand them over to Eric without hesitation.

After rescuing our dog at 4 months old from the Humane Society we began to notice that she had some serious behavioral issues, including human aggression. We tried taking her to some of the 'only positive reinforcement' trainers that are recommended by the humane society, but frankly they all did nothing to help our dog's aggressive tendencies, and only taught her basic commands like sit and lay-down. Thankfully, we found Eric and he came to our house and did a 1 on 1 session to gauge the kind of issues we were seeing. He quickly pinpointed her aggression to strangers and that she was acting as the alpha in our household, and suggested his services to get her on the right track. Its been 1 year since our first work with Eric, and I can honestly say I don't know what would have happened if we did not meet him. Our dog consistently gets comments from strangers of how well behaved she is, and she has completely stopped showing any signs of human aggression - and even is happy to meet and greet strangers when they come to our house or that we meet on walks. I cannot recommend Eric's services highly enough, and we continue to work with him on & off to continue to reinforce his teachings with our dog. I honestly have never met a person that cares more about rehabilitating dogs than Eric - he often takes high risk dogs for free just to save them from inevitability at high-kill shelters. It is unfortunate that he is the victim of cyber-abuse by internet trolls due to an instagram video of him that was COMPLETELY taken out of context.. Any one-star reviews that you see here, or on any other platform are completely unfounded and are from people who clearly do not know or have never worked with Eric - Please disregard those rating as they are false and misleading. Eric is the best dog trainer in the 805 hands-down, do yourself and your dog a favor and call him up.

I came to eric after my boyfriend and I were struggling with a rescue we adopted named Margot. She had fear aggression of people that she did not know. I watched as she charged someone at the beach, and growled and lunged at another at a restaurant. In response, we didn’t know how to lead her and we all became stressed. Eric taught us how to have a different relationship with Margot, one of leadership. He rehabilitated her himself and she became a different dog, one that felt safe in trusting her leader where she didn’t need to feel like she had to be on attack mode. Not to mention she has literally the best recall and obedience training as well. Post training he took her for day trips along with his pack and sent us videos of her having the best time of her life at the beach, on hikes, and on different adventures. He is great at what he does, he loves what he does, and we trust him with our dog whole heartedly. Every time someone has an issue with their dog, we recommend eric every time...

My 7-month-old Rhodesian Ridgeback, Shaka, did well at “puppy academy”, learned all the basic commands such as sit, down, stay, come etc. but clearly had a mind of his own. His size and strength made taking him for walks an unpleasant and stressful experience. I had to be ultra-careful with him around other dogs as his puppy enthusiasm, plus physical size, overwhelmed most others. It was not safe to have him off leash anywhere as he was unresponsive and out of control. Simply put, it was no fun being with him. One day I took him to a local park and as luck would have it Eric was there exercising his dogs. He invited me to let Shaka off leash to join his pack and quietly assured me he would not run away but also be quickly absorbed into the group’s dynamic. As Eric and I talked I could not help but be impressed with his approach toward developing relationships with dogs and how his own animals’ behavior showed the effectiveness of his methods. Recognizing that I needed help training Shaka I decided that to take him to Eric. After an introductory lesson we decided that to take most advantage of Eric’s abilities and get the desired results it would be best to have Shaka go through a four-week period of board and training. The results exceeded my expectations. Shaka hasn’t lost his puppy enthusiasm but clearly is more focused and responsive. Back at home he continues to make good progress with me being able to build on the solid foundation Eric has laid down. Walks are no longer a “drag” but are a shared enjoyable experience, having a dog who understands what is expected of him and me understanding how to communicate with him has made a huge difference. Shaka and I are quickly establishing the kind of relationship which I have been looking for. One can’t help but have a great deal of respect for the dedication and caring Eric brings to his training. His goal is not just to train dogs but to educate their owners too, providing them with understanding and the tools needed to create a positive relationship with their dogs. He is committed to ongoing support, which ensures the training process continues, thereby improving the quality and depth of the relationship between owner and dog.
