Flash Dog Training, LLC

Our experience with Flash training was excellent! Our dog Jax, is a pudelpointer and a working dog. While extremely friendly and loving, he has difficulty calming himself around other people, public settings, and distracting scenarios. Instead of taking Jax for a walk, he was notorious for taking us for a walk. After his training, Jax has learned to calm himself. He stays focused on his owners and listens during place and outdoor walks. At four years of age, I was amazed at Jax’s progress and ability to learn “new commands” and make large strides. Overall, he is a wiser and much happier boy. A big “shout out” to Jess, for her remarkable talent in training our dog and ‘his family’. Flash training is simply the best program in Central Oregon and highly recommended.

I can not thank the team at Flash Dog enough. My dog was both the sweetest most affectionate dog I've ever had, but also suffered greatly with anxiety and resource guarding. It had gotten so bad that I could not take him on a walk without him lunging on the leash, barking aggressively at other dogs, and even biting people on occasion when he was nervous or startled. I knew we had to do something and were lacking the skills ourselves to help him. After his time at Flash Dog, he came back home still the amazing pet we had, but CALM. I didnt know this was possible. I can now confidently walk him, and have the skills to stop him before he ramps up. I am no longer afraid he will accidentally hurt someone or another dog. While initially nervous about the e-collar, in our case, this was a game changer. We needed the ability to get his attention before he escalated. (I also tried it out on my own arm, its not a big deal!) This tool is worth considering if you are in a similar situation. He's been home for two weeks and our reliance on the e-collar is reducing, without impacting his training. Most importantly, he is a happier, calmer dog. He rests in his "place" and still has plenty of time to be his silly Aussie self. All of our lives are better for this experience. Amazing!! Thank you so much.

I’m so happy with the incredible outcome of sending my dog Bodhi to board and train at Flash. I adopted him four years ago, and while I was initially unsure of how much change was possible at this point, wow was I proven wrong! Bodhi went from being leash reactive and pulling to consistently heeling and controlling himself when other dogs pass by, and from whining when not allowed to follow me around the house or be in the same room to lying calmly in place on his bed for hours — our two biggest issues. We also just transitioned to living in a more populated area and have a baby on the way, and I feel so much more at ease and confident walking Bodhi and knowing what to do when we run into off leash dogs. Shout out to trainer Amanda for being extremely knowledgeable and a delight to work with! When I brought Bodhi back to Flash to board him while traveling, he was so excited to reunite with everyone there. I highly recommend Flash.
