Cari is a wonderful trainer. Her emphasis on positive reinforcement training helps build wonderful obedience skills in dogs. Class sizes are kept small intentionally so that she can still provide individual attention and work on any special issues you may be having with your dog. She also makes herself available by email outside of class if you are experiencing a problem between classes. We have taken 3 classes with her so far (starting with puppy) and plan on continuing in the future (Canine Good Citizen and nose work). And boy do her classes work! Recently, our dog slipped her collar when she was scared about going into the vet. We used our skills and did a quick recall and our dog came back to us immediately. We were able to secure her without incident which is amazing considering how scared she was! Fortunately this story has a happy ending because we had such a strong obedience foundation and a solid recall thanks to all of the training we have done with Cari. I would highly recommend Cari for all of your dog training needs!

I have a very energetic and excitable fox terrier puppy. My son and I have taken both puppy and manners classes with Cari for the past year. Our puppy, Bourbon, has learned so much during this time. Cari has helped Bourbon learn all of his basic commands, which has resulted in him being less impulsive. He has learned to socialize well with other dogs and people. My son, Bourbon and I are always excited to attend training classes together, Cari makes it enjoyable for both the dog and handlers
