FirstBarkCari is just awesome! She is incredibly knowledgeable & patient. Teaching in a way even this first time dog owner could easily understand. She has also been very responsive & helpful when we experienced some behavioral concerns into adulthood, well after puppy classes. Would 100% recommend to anyone with a new pup or an adult dog!

Since 2014 I have been traveling about once a week to take my dogs to NoseWork classes. I travel over 70 miles one way. My dog Happy, a rescue, was the first dog. It changed his life. Training for NoseWork and trialing was the most fun he had in his life. Then Gala who came to me at one year old was second. At a year old she was a dog out of control. She could not walk on a leash. With Cari's help, Gala she got her WCRL Rally Level 3 Championship and her NACSW NoseWork Elite Championship. I could not have accomplished this with these two dogs without the expert training at FitHound Puppy & Dog Training. Cari helps you build a positive relationship with your dog. The classes are so much fun that I would rent a dog and take it to class.
So far I’ve done two puppy classes with Cari, each spanning multiple weeks. Not only did we learn a lot about improving bad behaviors and learning manners, but we got a lot of socialization with other dogs and people. Cari was very friendly and great to work with. I highly recommend taking classes with Fit Hound and I’m looking forward to taking more classes in the future.
My senior dog and I have been taking nosework lessons with Fithound and they are awesome! Very good at helping understand not only the “how to” but also the “why” behind training, and helping my older dog learn and have fun with training. Would definitely recommend!
