I highly recommend Elisa with Fit Dog Training. She is very knowledgeable and comes to you to assist you in training your dog. I like this because she is able to assess your dog and meet your needs in the dogs own environment. Lucy (my dog)loved the training! Now it’s up to me to follow through with repetition..Elisa is straight forward and gives you hands on assist, video assist and her availability to answer questions. Definitely give her a call if you are considering dog training! Also reasonably priced if you look at various programs. Totally worth your investment! Lucy is the star of neighborhood dog walking crew because she is so well behaved after using the techniques we learned through this training program! 🤩

Elisa has so much knowledge and experience training dogs and their owners. We realized we needed help with our big 18 month old, 80lb puppy after finding out we had a baby on the way. He needed some additional direction and discipline but the things we learned in the classic "class" setting was all about motivating with treats, and he simply wasn't motivated by that or responding. Elisa helped us utilize appropriate tools, methods, and skills to get him to respond and we've seen a huge difference in his behavior in a matter of weeks, after trying the food method for many many months with little to no success. He has ceased many naughty habits like counter surfing, digging, etc. He is also walking at heel much better instead of pulling our arms off on walks, and he is learning "place" and recall quickly as we work with him the right way. If any or all of these are areas you need help with, or if you need help with any other training area, definitely contact her! She knows what to do and you will see results quickly. As far as cost goes, it is worth the price for a lifetime of obedience from your dog :)

Her holistic approach to our household put us at ease instantly because we knew our training was going to be realistic for our 10 month old Siberian Husky Mix: Sansa (Queen of the North), -and- for us ‘Hoomans’. We had already decided to contact Elisa/Fit Dog Training for at home training after we brought Sansa home and got her settled. Well, life goes on and then Sansa unexpectedly developed Grade 3 and 4 Patellar Luxations in her hind legs last October. We began to realize that Sansa was becoming more of a handful as we all had started to slack off on our limited ‘at home training’ and then adding my coddling of her due to her injuries. We apprised Elisa prior to scheduling our training of Sansa’s physical limitations. Elisa worked wonderfully with Sansa, she adapted the training to meet how Sansa was feeling on the day, gave us guidelines for our ‘homework’ that allowed for flexibility based on how Sansa was feeling as well. With Elisa, Sansa is well on her way to good dog citizenship skills. We appreciate you so much Elisa! We recently completed the obedience package with Elisa for our cockapoo puppy, Cherry, and we couldn't be more impressed with the results.
