Situational Readiness — Break routines and triggers that cause overexcitement or anxiety. Heavy distraction work: doorbell sounds, fireworks, sirens, traffic sounds, departure cues (keys, shoes, coat). Decouple triggers from outcomes.
Advanced SkillsProgram details
Command & Control (Requires rank of Major or above) — Works on higher obedience, preparing some dogs for Colonel (CGC) and even General (UCGC) in the AKC certification programs. Combines all skills under realistic distractions (real-world obedience, reaction to other dogs and distractions, individualized coaching, etc).

Open Order Drill — Trainer-led, fast-rotating hour covering a variety of obedience tasks, switching to a new drill every 5–10 minutes. Dog owners can call out special requests and the real-world challenges they’re working through for live, in-the-moment coaching.

Intercept Drill — Impulse control and prey drive management using flirt poles, tug toys, and other high-energy tools. Builds focus, self-control, and a strong “off” switch.

Battle Stations — On a single cue, send the dog away to a designated spot (bed, cot, or mat) and have it settle there until released — holding position even as the handler moves around, steps out of sight, or leaves the room. Builds impulse control, calm independence, and out-of-sight duration.

Ground Patrol — Walking on a loose lead with turns, stops, and direction changes. Walking through a crowd. Ignoring food and treats on the ground while maintaining focus.
Mid-Stay Vet RunProgram details
Trainer transports a B&T dog to the vet mid-stay (booster due, routine visit): drive + wait + handling (~2 hrs total). Vet's invoice paid by owner directly or passed through at cost. I was referred over to Fidelis almost a year ago from a friend. The Belgian Malinois that we have needed interaction and the basic training foundations she was still a pup at about 7 months old. Patrick is amazing and little Razzle absolutely loves him and his family! I opted for the unlimited group classes as it was important to train around other dogs and people. She also did a month-long of board and train where we learned she can scale a 6’ fence in about 2 seconds 😂 Didn’t surprise me with that as our other Belgian Malinois could do that also. Having trained a GSD who came to me extremely wild, I know how this training works. However, I have never had a dog who was not confident and was scared of her own shadow like Raz is. Patrick gave me numerous pointers on helping build her confidence and socialization. Razzle has made great strides here at Fidelis K9 and I would recommend this training to anyone who is struggling even with just the basics of taking your dog on a walk. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

So glad we found this place. Owner Patrick is super nice and easy to work with. He met my dog Milo (Shepherd/Husky mix) and he recommended a plan to get him to meet my goals. We started off with a 10 day board which was optional. This board allowed my dog to learn the foundations and basic commands. After the board we followed up with group classes which he has available all throughout the week at multiple times. You show up whenever is convenient for you. I have been taking my dog at least once a week for an hour group class and he has exceeded my expectations. I can leave him in a sit/stay for as long as I need. I can get him to go to a place and lay down. I can now greet other owners and dogs without my dog freaking out and being vocal. I owe all of this praise to K9 Fidelis. I highly recommend if you have a dog to at least go check out a group class. Patrick is easy to work with and you can schedule a meet and greet or a drop-in with a simple text message or email to the business. On top of all of this they have fun classes like Promotion Night where your dog gets to earn military ranks based on his/her behavior. You get to advance your dog through the military ranks. They also offer outings to businesses incase you want to teach your dog how to be a well behaved dog that can go to a restaurant with you.

This is an awesome training center. Our dog Leia has advanced so much and she is getting better and better every day. Patrick is amazing with all the dogs and knows lots of techniques to train your dogs. Highly recommend this for training at all levels.
