Amazing experience with Linda and Tom! They took on our energetic Jack Russell for an initial two-week "board and train" program this spring, and the results we saw were impressive. Linda and her team demonstrated a high degree of professionalism from the initial interview to the several "ZOOM" and in - person coaching sessions that followed the actual training. The facility is excellent and the care and expertise at Fetchmasters is well worth the time and monetary investment. We have already signed on for the Level Two program in the near future. Highly recommended, without reservation.

My wife and I have a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, and though we are not hunters - we really wanted to make sure and put the work in to develop an obedient, happy, well-round companion that would be great in the backcountry. As we are avid hikers and skiers, off-leash reliability and recall were (and currently are) the most important items for us. We found Fetchmasters through our vet, and immediately set up a meeting. Soon thereafter he was enrolled in Level one training and "graduated" with a wide variety of skills. Additionally, this about the time that the COVID issue struck - so we had to resort to distance coaching via ZOOM. Though initially concerned about the difficulties we might face, it has been a pleasure and has allowed my wife and I to learn and understand our dog's behavior from the comfort of our own home. We have been able to attend webinars for long-lead training as well as send Linda videos of our two dogs interacting so that she could assess their relationship. Her ability to communicate what it is that we need to do, even more so that what our pup needs, has been enlightening. Highly recommend these trainers as they are knowledgeable, compassionate, and extremely good at what they do.

I dropped my heeler, Ruth, off for level one board and train and I couldn't be happier! For 6 months I tried to teach Ruth basic obedience, but I think she was literally getting worse. I searched online to find a trainer to help me, but I found a lot of trainers used some kind of collar that made me feel uncomfortable. Ruth is super smart, I just didn't know what I was doing. Tom, Linda and the rest of their team did such an amazing job. I really felt like Fetchmasters cared about me and Ruth. I loved the phone call from Tom before Ruth could go to school and the two follow up sessions after the board and train. Linda really helped me tailor my own skills as a pet owner and even gave me extra skills to work on at home. I could tell Ruth really enjoyed all the trainers, because when we went back for our second lesson she was so excited to see everyone! It just reinforced that she not only learned A LOT, but enjoyed her two weeks. I understand questioning being away from your loved one for two weeks and the price, but I would do it again in a heartbeat! Ruth has her level one skills down and to add to it, Ruth listens to anything I saw much more! I also loved the personalized attention Linda gave to me during our sessions. Ruth is stubborn, Linda really helped tailor my skills with Ruth to be more effective. I now LOVE doing little training sessions with Ruth at home. I used to turn the other way when I saw another dog because Ruth was terrible with her pulling. She just wanted to play, but I live in a city and there are dogs everywhere. Now, I find myself purposely passing dogs on the side walk because Ruth is so good a heeling. Chose Fetchmasters, it's the best!
