I can’t endorse Anthony and Fetching Feathers enough. My dog had all the God-given potential, but he needed someone with the experience and knowledge Anthony has to make the most of it. If you are looking for a foo foo, tell you what you want to hear trainer, look elsewhere. But if you want a no nonsense, get to the point, and produce incredible results in your dog trainer, then look no further. The best endorsement I can give is this: when it is time to train the next dog, I will be sending it to Fetching Feathers without reservation.

I had hunted with Anthony and knew he was a genuinely good guy with dog knowledge. I had had a Brittany and two GSPs over the years that I had trained. All were serious hunters. Now, I have a new pup that I am training. When I couldn't get this young GSP to point, I needed professional help. I took him to Anthony. My pup, Stig, is a smart but hard-headed knuckle-head with shifting focus and short attention span. And did I say, he wouldn't point! I was seriously worried that I had an expensive house dog. Within two weeks, Anthony had him pointing. Folks! that's what a pro can do. After three months, Stig hunts, points, and retrieves with enthusiasm, confidence and knowledge. I'll have to reinforce Anthony's training, but I am a whole lot closer to the finish line than I would ever be at, left on my own. Stig isn't stylish or classic like my other GSPs. That just isn't who Stig is, but considering the distance Anthony had to cover to get him here, Stig looks like a miracle transformation. Anthony handed me a hunting dog who is a hunting partner.

We sent our pup to a 4wk Board and Train for Basic Obedience with Anthony and are so impressed with her progress. She was quite unruly, stubborn, and a bit of a Diva for us before we sent her off, and now she's staying in Place, laying calmly with guests over, actually listens to commands, and is so much better on the leash. Anthony is so nice-you can tell he truly cares, and you can know that your pup is safe In his care. Our dog came back to us healthier and happier and we are very glad we sent her to Fetching Feathers. Thanks for helping us get this girl into shape!

5 stars is not enough to rate our experience with Anthony/Fetching Feathers. The weekly videos, pictures and individualized report cards are a nice addition to the training he provides, and a service we have not experienced with other trainers. You aren’t left wondering where your dog is at on their training. Anthony works hard for you and your dog and his hard work doesn’t end the day your dog leaves trainings, he becomes a long term asset!
