ExFed is simply the best. If your considering dog training - Rick is the go to guy in the Cape Cod area. His training methods are very positive and his communication with the dogs is impressive. We brought him our six month old puppy Rottweiler. After spending some time with Rick during two separate multi-day drop offs - we had much better control and reliability with our dog. She is growing up to be a wonderful dog and Rick had a positive impact on her trajectory. Also, Rick takes the time to work with the owners so that they are equipped to continue to teach and work with the dog. For anyone who has worked with dog trainers - you probably understand that it's the owners who need training as much as the dog. Rick's property is fantastic, clean and safe. Our puppy was extremely excited to return to Ricks and see him. ExFed is highly recommend.

Our Bernadoodle spent 2 weeks at Rick's house for training, he welcomed Stocai into his home like one of his very own. I felt very comfortable leaving her in his care and he provided constant feedback and video updates so I knew she was having a great time, in a structured and loving learning environment. She has grown so much over the last 2 weeks. The best part is that you as the dog owner are included in the learning process, you spend time at Ex Fed learning how to continue to train your dog as learning is a lifelong process. Would 10/10 recommend ExFed for your pups training

Rick recently had my golden retriever for boot camp training at his home. She is adorable but can be stubborn and difficult to train. Rick has been extremely patient and kind with her (and us!). She has learned all of the commands, he’s helped her overcome her fearfulness and separation anxiety, and he also trained her using the SpotOn gps collar. Because of his integrity and the pride he has in doing a fantastic job, he kept her for additional time until he felt she was ready to return home. She was trained well enough for us to continue her training at home. I highly recommend Rick for training your pet. He treats them and their humans with the utmost respect and even posts pictures and videos daily on your pets’ progress on social media. This helped my family cope with her being away from us and instilled even more confidence in the great job he was doing with her.
