Exceptional Canines In-Home Dog Training

We initially consulted with Ingo regarding our Golden puppy training. However when he came to the house and saw our 6 year old rescue golden, who everyone prior to him said he was a mess and untrainable, and scared of his own shadow ( in fact one wonderful therapist just gave up), he agreed to work with both dogs. "The bar's open" game has helped Kramer get out of the house and not be afraid of people" and we are starting to get him comfortable on a leash. Before Ingo, he wouldn't even go into our driveway. After 2 sessions with our puppy, Stanley is coming when he is called. Lots more work ahead, but we are learning consistency and Kramer is developing confidence. Ingo has done wonders for both dogs in a short amount of time. Hopefully next review we can add pictures of Kramer on a leash and a long sit/stay for Stanley! Doug and Karen Baldwin

We got our new family puppy from my brother and sister in law for Christmas. It was a great surprise. Even better, was the fact that she had started training with Ingo before we got her. She knew a handful of commands and responded accordingly. Ingo was awesome enough to come see how his patient was doing in her new environment and teach us (her new family) some tricks and tips to continue her training. He was friendly and very knowledgeable and I could see that our puppy remembered him and his voice. We definitely recommend Ingo and his services.

Ingo from Exceptional Canines was recommended to me by a friend in helping me survive the adolescent years of my 1 year old golden retriever, Sammy. Some of the challenges I’ve experienced with Sammy are general in-home obedience, leash walking, and reactivity to other dogs. After one session with Ingo, I saw immediate results with Sammy as I learned how to communicate in a way that Sammy understands. We are now a few training sessions in and the difference in my dog has been night and day with leash walking and obedience at home. We brought home our little bundle of joy and craziness - a Pomsky. The little guy with his energy and curiosity drove me and wife crazy within four weeks. We were told the pup could not be exposed to other dogs and generally the outside until he had his second set of shots, so we could not take him for any kind of training. I was fortunate I found Exceptional Canines and Ingo. Ingo came today and spent time with us and our pup Bodhi. In less than 60 minutes he had settled us and the pup down. He gave us clear instructions on how to put structure around caring for Bodhi. Ingo was so thorough and empathetic with us, that it changed our entire upside life to right side up. He had come for 90 mins and ended up spending more than two hours with us ensuring we understood how to keep Bodhi occupied and cared for within a defined framework. I highly recommend this training and Ingo for new pet owners, or even experienced pet owners with a new pet! We fall in the latter category. We had a pet for 15 years before she passed. We had forgotten all our skills of caring for a pup! So all in all thank you Ingo!
