I will always recommend Michael to anyone in need of a dog trainer. He is understanding, calm, and thorough. My dog Molly is extremely anxious and gets into everything when I leave the house. I tried crate training her on my own with very little success. I reached out to Michael and to say he saved the day doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface. He explained everything to me and started slow with Molly so she had an understanding of what was asked of her. In a very short time she was laying down and asleep in her crate - a sight I never thought I’d see. He taught me how to continue the program on my own and manage any issues that may arise. I cannot recommend him enough - this is your sign to use Enlightened K9 Perspective for your dog!

We adopted a juvenile 75-pound German Shepherd who desperately needed training. He had a serious jumping problem and was unmanageable. Michael was able to get him into training right away, and from the very start we could tell how much he cared. On our first visit, he even hosed down the driveway so it wouldn’t be too hot for Vuko’s paws on a hot summer day. Throughout training, Michael gave us frequent updates and pictures on Vuko’s progress. He took him on multiple outings to ensure he was properly socialized. Vuko clearly loves Michael and is a different, much better behaved dog now. He even helped to introduce our smaller dog to Vuko. If you ever feel like your dog is uncontrollable or just needs more structure, Michael is the perfect trainer to call. He follows up after training and continues to provide support and advice at any time. He is truly the dog whisperer!

We’ve left our dog in his care numerous times and I feel relief knowing he’s well taken care of. The facilities are top notch and Michael has always been very accommodating with early, or last minute bookings. He’s very flexible with drop off and pick up times. Michael’s even dropped Finn off when I was in a bind to pick him up. Very grateful for his help and always giving my fur baby the best care.
Michael is always my first choice when boarding my dog, Max who is a Cane Corso. Max is the type of dog that needs a person who understands a Corso’s temperament and is able to handle a mastiff. I don’t worry about Max when he is with Michael. I know he is in good hands!!! ❤️🐾
