I cannot recommend Michael enough! From the very beginning, he was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. My dog went to him for basic manners and food aggression, and the progress has been incredible. What I appreciated most was how consistent he was with communication. He regularly sent updates and pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind and showed me how much effort and attention he was putting into my dog’s training. It truly felt like my dog was in great hands the entire time. Not only did my dog improve in obedience and manners, but the work on food aggression made a huge difference in our home. I’m so thankful for Michael’s patience, skill, and dedication. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares and delivers real results, he’s the one.

I sent my one year-old boxer to Michael at enlightened k9 perspective In the hopes of getting him some training on being able to be around other people and dogs without barking and nipping and being so on edge that I had to crate him if anyone came to the house and taking walks was a chore because he would chase anything that moved and couldn’t have just a quiet walk.After three weeks with Michael Training And working with him, I can’t even put into words the difference it’s hard to believe this is even the same boxer that I sent to him. He truly puts heart and soul into working with dogs to give them the tools and training that they need to have a much calmer sense about them. We are now leash walking calmly and I can have people come into our home and not have to worry about my boxer, jumping and nipping. He now knows that when he is told down or stay he does so until he is calm enough to greet anyone and on top of that he also gave us pointers on some tips of training with my great Dane, which has been a true help. He did not have to do that, but that is the type of person that he is.. I highly recommend sending any of your dogs that need any kind of training to Michael. It will be the best decision you have ever made. I can only say I wish I had of known and sent mine earlier..

I cannot stress how amazing Michael Sigmon and Enlightened K9 Perspective are! My 13-month old dog, Bigs, was out of control. He began having destructive flip outs that were increasing in frequency and volatility. The professionals in our life recommends early neutering and medication, but things got worse. I reached out to Michael from the hospital (27 stitches on my forearm), desperate for help. The professionals suggested I put him down, but I felt that he needed a chance. Michael delivered beyond my wildest dreams. He board and trained Bigs for 2 ½ months and I am shocked at the well behaved, balanced dog he brought home this week. Bigs is calm, self-controlled, and eager for my direction. For two days, Michael taught me how to establish the rules and continue his hard work in my home. He has been a tremendous ongoing support, answering my numerous questions with patience and clarity. Michael loves the dogs he trains, and they definitely love him. Michael has given us a new start with the right tools. He has literally changed our lives (and saved Bigs). Thank you!!

We adopted Bella from the DAHS because she was so affectionate and obviously anxious to please. We quickly learned;however, why her original owners had given up on her.She had severe separation anxiety and no basic manners. As a veterinarian for almost 40 years, I knew that these behavior issues need special attention with a trained professional. Having worked with Michael on multiple similar cases I knew Bella needed to spend time at Enlightened K9 Perspectives. In just 3 weeks her complete disposition changed. She now knows how to behave at home and in public.We are able to enjoy going on pack walks, visiting dog-friendly restaurants, and taking her to public places. Michael is still training us to modify our behavior but his patience and continued interest in Bella’s life has been amazing. We are forever grateful for his rescue of this our special friend.
