FirstBarkLiz is great! She has helped me understand my dogs behaviors and reasons why he acts like he does. Her explanations and executions for a personalized training plan are simple to understand and easy to implement. Liz is a message away with answers to any questions you may have between lessons. 10/10 would highly recommend!

With over 15 years of working with dogs in a professional capacity, Elizabeth guides her handlers and builds their relationships with their dog. Elizabeth is an internationally credentialed behavior consultant (CDBC) via the IAABC. As well as a licensed Family Dog Mediator (LFDM) Elizabeth bridges the gaps between people and their dogs. FDM’s are certified pet professionals who are trained to assess each animal based on their LEGS- Learning, Environment, Genetics and Self.

Elizabeth is wonderful! She’s very knowledgeable about livestock guardian breeds and behavioral challenges in general. The remote set up that she has allows us to continue to work together even though we’re on opposite sides of the country. She demos behavior using her dog, and then we send videos of us doing the same training protocols for feedback. It works great! Our dog has made incredible progress already in just a few short months. I’d definitely recommend!
Elizabeth has excellent skills in determining the best steps to help your pet achieve his or her goals. She has a huge toolbox of ideas to help your pet with their unique challenges.

If you’re looking for more than just your typical puppy 101 with personalized training, Elizabeth is the trainer for you. I would 100% recommend her! Elizabeth took the time to get to know our dog and us and what we wanted to do with our new family member. She personalized our sessions to work towards our bigger goals doing them both in-person and Zoom- which work! She was very easy to work with, giving homework to do in between our time together and scheduled sessions that worked for both of our busy summers. Even though our sessions have ended, Elizabeth encouraged us to keep in touch and provided further “homework” to continue to work on knowing our big picture goals. She has made me a better dog mom!
