Einstein Dog Training

My daughter’s dog Kingsley is such a delight now to have at our house since training at Einstein Dog Training. We have seen such significant change in his demeanor and behavior. He his now able to behave when we have family gatherings. He would never have been able to go to Dock Dog World Championship last year and did so amazing had it not been for the wonderful program at Einstein. I am proud of my daughter for becoming such a great dog trainer and having such passion for this

We adopted Grizzly a year ago as a pup and quickly learned we needed some additional training. We had used Einstein for puppy class for a previous pup and immediately signed up for them again with him. We knew Grizzly was going to be a challenge and we wanted to start him out with a good foundation. The puppy classes or amazing and I highly recommend them to anyone with any puppy for a solid foundation. As Grizzly grew, he needed additional training for his reactivity, and we were able to seamlessly transition into adult training and group classes. Katie, in particular, has dealt with a lot of Grizzly's training especially as he grew into his adult training and group classes. She is an amazing trainer and not only do we love her but so does Grizzly. Quite honestly, we think he loves her more than he loves us. He has come so far with his reactivity and we wouldn't have been able to do that without her or the whole Einstein team.

This was the best training decision I could have made for me and my dog. When I contacted Einstein for a consultation, my GSD and I had just finished working with our second trainer and I was at a loss. My dog knew obedience commands fairly well at the time, but his behavior was awful. He had horrible leash reactivity and could become really mouthy with me at home. The trainer we had just finished working with said he was just a “bad dog” and we decided to part ways because there was nothing more she could do to help me with him. I am so thankful I found Einstein. My dog was treated like an individual and finally received the training he needed- he was not just put through a cookie cutter program and expected to succeed. More importantly, I learned how to handle his behavior. Our trainer, Makenna, made sure I understood the homework, responded to questions between training days, was easy to coordinate with, and really made sure that she understood the problems I was having with my dog at home and that they were being addressed. We worked with Makenna for my dog’s day train program and continued to attend group classes with Makenna and Mika. They have both have helped me and my dog so much. My dog’s behavior has improved and I feel more confident as a dog owner to keep up with his training. My dog and I have a completely different relationship. I can’t say enough good things about Einstein. 10/10 would recommend.

We’ve been working for 3 years with this rescue, who’s got fear aggression & has been on numerous behavioral medications. After many trainers, hundreds of hours of positive reinforcement training, and finally a physical injury to my husband, we decided—against the advice of our veterinary behaviorist—to go the e-collar route. It wasn’t a decision we made quickly, lightly, or without a ton of research. He’s made quite a bit of progress using the e-collar, and it’s usually only at 15-20. He will likely never be able to be around other dogs, but he was able to walk several feet away from Jaclyn’s dog during a training session. That would never happened even 6 months ago. Jaclyn is very consistent with her training methods, and clearly has been well-trained herself at Einstein. The electronic collar is not a punishment, but a communication tool. It should be used in conjunction with a qualified trainer, never on your own. We had done a meet & greet with another trainer, but did not like the way they cued the dogs in their care with no verbalizations. We went with Einstein instead, and are glad we did. Now onward to the group classes, but only from a distance, I’m afraid.
