Einstein Dog Training

Our dog was signed up for a whole program of training at Einstein over the summer. She is essentially the same as before, having learned almost nothing in her training. They use electric shock collars as a standard training tool, making the dog submit because it's afraid rather than submit because it is happy. Probably because they don't know how to humanely convince dogs how to learn new things. Our society got rid of corporal punishment in schools, even though it worked at controlling pupils. One day we'll do the same for dogs.

Give this place a call whether you've a new pet in need of foundation or an old pet with bad habits. The staff and trainers at this facility are intuitive, honest, and considerate. Our trainer, Mika, was especially attentive and perceptive in explaining why our dog had issues and how we could best address them. A great example of the above: the program uses stimulus (not shock) collars that contract a pet's muscles to get their attention for commands. Mika made sure we understood all facets of the collar, what it feels like, and how NOT to use it, before moving forward. My partner and I came in with an older dog with some engrained authority issues due to how we raised her. Even after the first week of Einstein Training we saw progress in our pet listening, following commands, etc. This program is well worth the money so long as you commit wholeheartedly.

We are so happy to have found Einstein Dog Training. Rachel and Dan are wonderful. Our 2.5 yr old Great Dane has dog aggression. When we started his weekly boot camp training, it was really difficult for him to even see other dogs. Now with the correct tools, our lives have been transformed. We know we have to continue to work on things but he is a different dog. Now we have the support of going to classes with other dogs to continue our training. Rachel, Dan and Micah have been so supportive, and informative for us. We are so happy with our Maverick. He is learning and trying. We are now at a point that we can take him places and maybe even start camping again!
