Once we charge the battery, now long before it will need to be recharged?
Hi Katherine, Of course this number will vary by usage, but I usually tell people to expect between 24 and 48 hours between charges. You might also notice that the collar/receiver discharges faster than the remote. This is due to it getting the brunt of the work. Best, Jon @ E-Collar Technologies

Never ever have I had a dog so resistant to training or command. My dog is “wide open and off the chain.” Sent her to professional trainers who remarked they had never had a dog so intelligent, single-minded and resistant to commands. They began working with her on the e-collar and by the time I picked her up (almost 6 weeks) she was a different fur baby. All I have to do is show her the remote and life for her and me is a totally different activity. My dog is a Pitbull weighing about 70 pounds and I am 73 years old and was pulled back and forth when she was 30 pounds. I couldn’t bear to surrender or neglect her. Training and the use of this collar kept her, my older female Pitbull and myself a well adjusted and happier trio. For anyone who thinks an e-collar is cruel or inhumane…think again. All I have to do is give a command and show her the remote control to the tv, a cell phone or the e-collar receiver. She knows her actions are unacceptable. Even got to the point where I can say “ZAP” and she knows to act a lot calmer and be nice when playing.
