I can't recommend John enough. He took my sensitive, anxious, stubborn, 3.5 year old boy and after 3 weeks I've seen such a great change in Bru. I'll admit, I was not a fan of the "board and train" idea because I've always wanted to train my dog on my own, but after years of trying everything I could think of/handle, I knew I had to take it up a notch. John came to our apartment for a meet and greet evaluation of Bru before we moved forward with a training plan. While Bru was under John's care, he kept in frequent communication with me- providing me with updates on Bru's successes, feeding routines, and always responded promptly when I reached out with any questions. After our first session, I was immediately put at ease when I saw how well Bru was responding to John. I saw the bond they were forming and knew Bru was in good hands. He was attentive and responsive to John and seemed eager to perform his tasks. It was amazing to see Bru's progress during each of our sessions. Bru is by no means "cured", and his discomfort in unfamiliar settings will probably always be an obstacle, but managing that discomfort has become much easier now that I have the tools and knowledge to help Bru navigate those stressful moments. John has given us such a great foundation to continue to build on, and I look forward to continuing Bru's training on my own.

John has been training my 11 month old Mini Golden Doddle Buttons, she is very smart but she needed more professional training. John has done wonderful work with her, I'm amazed how his training has changed her for the better, before she was a wild child on the leash she didn't listen alot of times, but now O my goodness what a beautiful changed has happened. Thank you John for caring and training her, you are the best. I would and will recommend you to anyone.

Spent every day for 14 weeks with John while getting a dual purpose dog for police work. What you'll get is a calm, level headed trainer with a clear goal in mind. That said, you'll see he comes with a history of experience of being among great trainers who do not provide a cookie-cutter training plan. The training is designed to meet the drives, abilities and progress of the dog to come to the end result and expectation of the owner/handler/etc. Would definitely work with John again and recommend him as a trainer.
