I can’t say enough good things about Dynamic K9! I brought my 8-year-old Shih Tzu Poodle in for training, and I honestly wasn’t sure how much progress we’d be able to make since he’s a little older and set in his ways. But the difference has been incredible. John was so patient, knowledgeable, and really took the time to explain things in a way that made sense for both me and my dog. I loved that the methods were positive and gentle, just clear communication and consistency. Within a few sessions, my dog was walking on a leash without pulling, responding to commands better, and even seemed calmer overall. It feels like I not only got help with training, but also built a stronger bond with my pup. If you’re looking for a trainer who truly cares and delivers results, I couldn’t recommend John at Dynamic K9 more highly!

Ten stars if i could. John worked with both of my malinois weekly on sport training for PSA. Both dogs showed vast noticeable improvement in a variety of skills needed for the sport including obedience, attention, calm stationary behaviors, focused heeling, and bitework. I am a trainer myself and very selective with who i allow around my dogs in training settings and to decoy my dogs. John was always kind, not only to my dogs, but to a dozen other dogs i saw him train during our sessions. During our sessions while my and other's dogs were on a rest break, he worked some of his board and train client dogs - all of whom were in good health and spirits. It is clear that he is a trustworthy trainer for board and train services as well. i would trust john with any of my dogs for board and train which can be a vulnerable service for pet owners to trust. He reads dogs well to determine if he's recommending the right approach and path for that dog's goals and how the dog feels during the training for best results. He is also kind and respectful towards the human end of the leash and takes time to talk through any concerns the owner/handler has or to reiterate instruction. i highly recommend john for any training you may need especially bitesports for which a good trainer can be hard to come by. i look forward to intermittent sessions with john when he returns to new jersey for trips throughout the years to come.
