Duran's K9 Training

I have a 10 month old chihuahua who was very nervous around new places and new people and really lacked confidence when she’d go out. My brother helped my little one open up and find her confidence when walking with a leash. I even got help learning each command and just being able to keep this confidence that she has. Me and my boyfriend are very glad we go the help that we needed for our dog and I believe he is the best trainer to go to for your dogs.

I want to preface by saying that I did A LOT of research before reaching out to Duran K9 Training, and no matter where I looked, I could not find anybody better than them to take of my dog. From the initial contact, they were extremely professional and accommodating, asked the right questions and made us feel very comfortable and confident we would get good results. Well, they surpassed our expectations! My dog is an Australian Shepherd, which are one of the hardest breeds to train, because they are very smart but being working breed, it is to say the least, challenging. Jorge and his wife were very communicative, sent me photos and videos very frequently, and when the training was over, they provided us with so much useful information and guidelines that I know we made the right choice. Now, all that being said, the training MUST be followed or it will be lost, so understanding that is a lifetime commitment is important, because Jorge planted the seeds, it is our job as parents, to water the plants to see the results we want. I have an 11 month old German Shepherd puppy named River, and sending her to train with Jorge was the best decision I could have made for her. From the very beginning, it was clear that Jorge treats every dog like his own and not like a client or a number. I was honestly afraid to leave my dog with just anybody, but it did not take long at all to realize River was in very good hands with Jorge. Every time I visited her during training, I could immediately tell she was healthy, happy, and well cared for. That alone gave me so much peace of mind. River went into training struggling with fear, anxiety, and dog reactivity. When she came home, she was a completely different dog. She is now confident, calm, no longer reactive or fearful, and incredibly obedient. I am still in shock that my dog can walk off leash and actually loves to train. Watching her enjoy working and learning has been amazing. I had to board River for a few nights while I was out of town for the holidays, and Jorge and his wife were beyond accommodating. Knowing she was in a safe and loving home made all the difference. I received lots of pictures and video updates of River during her stay, which was extremely comforting and reassuring. What stood out most to me is how balanced and happy River is now. She is not shut down or robotic. She is confident, eager to work, and truly enjoys listening. Jorge not only trained River but also gave me the tools and understanding I needed to continue her training at home. He taught River to be confident! I will board River with Jorge anytime I need to go out of town. He is the only person I fully trust with her. I would do this all over again without hesitation, and I am beyond grateful for the care, patience, and dedication Jorge and his wife put into River. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for real and lasting results.

Jorge and his wife are an incredible team! His wife made scheduling and communication effortless and was so kind and helpful with all my questions. Jorge worked absolute magic with our dog Rosie in just three weeks—his results speak for themselves. I especially love that he focuses on teaching the owners how to properly interact with their dogs. I truly wish I had found him sooner. Every dog and owner can benefit from this training. 10/10, highly recommended!
