Downtown Dogs Chicago

I adopted a 1 1/2 yro rescue that was difficult and at times scary due to his aggressive behavior. I was truly at my wits end and was questioning my decision to adopt him. I have always had dogs but this guy had a mind of his own. Ari and his staff worked diligently with him and after his training was concluded, gave me back a lovable and well behaved dog. Not only did they train my dog but they trained me on commands and actions needed to reinforce his behavior. I now have a dog that LISTENS to me and is an absolute pleasure to be with. I cannot say enough good things about Downtown Dogs Chicago, Ari and his staff. They are miracle workers!

Unfortunately Downtown Dogs did not meet my expectations. I paid a deposit for the 3 week board and train package, and then paid the remainder of the fee in full, in advance. I was told that it was best that my pup was closer to a year old behold said training should start, and I understood that logic. After the year passed, I decided that my puppy was not go to participate, and I contacted Ari for a refund of the second -in full- payment (not the deposit). He insisted on speaking to me first, did not call when he said he would, and when he finally did call me, he was abrasive and rude. He claimed the payment was non refundable despite NO written claims of this anywhere. He sent me screenshots of my payment stating it said non-refundable, which it did not. I still have not received my refund. Highly disappointed in this non professional behavior.
